Hey, I see the "wasteful nonsense" thread was nuked last night with a moderator note saying it’s staying gone. Does that mean I can't even start a new thread with a similar title?

I was kind of hoping someone could maybe just scrub those controversial parts from that thread and let them back in... because, honestly, I think it was literally just one person who had an issue with it, and nobody else did. I mean, that person can just ignore whatever they don't like, right? It doesn't seem fair to blow up a friendly little joke and ruin the vibe for everyone else.

+1, though we really ought to make sure she stays far away from this topic altogether.

We all have that one sanctuary—that specific corner of our home where we can roll in unwashed, uncombed, wearing nothing but pajamas, and just sink into a favorite recliner. Sometimes we leave the window cracked and let a draft blast through the room, or more often, we get so caught up laughing together that we completely forget the dinner cooking on the stove until it’s burnt to a crisp. Occasionally, someone might snap and call someone else a name—depending on how much stress they're under, their bank balance, or even just a lack of intimacy—but everything usually settles back into place once things cool down and the air clears. We all have moments where our blood boils like water in a kettle, and sometimes we end up venting at the wrong person.
We are only human and we make mistakes, but that doesn't mean we deserve to be locked out of our own little refuge.
I am humbly asking you to please turn the key and unlock the door.🙂
If I really have to, I'll show some skin to make amends. 🙂

It’s such a shame to lock a thread just because two people had a run-in. This was a space where even our biggest forum rivals could trade jabs and mess around quite casually.
Everything is backward here. This thread should have stayed open as a perfect example of peaceful, active coexistence on this board. Honestly, my inner Gandhi is absolutely heartbroken.

But look, regardless of why this was shut down, some outsider might think our brand of banter is a bit much. For those of us actually posting here, though? It’s well-loved, familiar, and frankly, a core part of the identity of some of our most legendary members—people who are known far beyond these digital walls. (😁)
I am certain nobody finds it offensive or out of line.

So, please, give us back our glorious, degenerate trash-talking. Thanks in advance. 🙂

I’m siding with everyone else asking the mods to just go through this entire thread. Honestly, they should take a look and decide if the whole thing is just one big joke. They can delete whatever they think needs to go and then just give it all back to us.

I wouldn't even bother asking the mods to clean up this thread because they’ll never be able to tell the difference between actual jokes and just some washed-up losers acting like they own the place...
All they did was scrub the insults, so they might as well just open the thread back up properly and let us get on with it.
