Dear forum admins,

Could you please bring back that 🤦 smiley icon for the premium users? Don't get me wrong—the other emojis are cool and all—but there’s just no substitute for that classic Facebook vibe in situations like this..

I wouldn't even bother addressing a request like that
if the issue wasn't that the New York Times forums won't let you embed images using IMG code,
which effectively makes it impossible to drop in any foreign facepalm memes.
-> consider this my moral support for Michelle Alvarez8's little plea!

We all know that once something disappears from this forum, it’s gone for good... things like the BB codes in signatures, the drop-down menus, the emojis...

Honestly, after reading all that, I’ve had a total change of heart.
In fact, why stop there? I say we just scrap emojis entirely. 😲

I’m all for it... fully support this request, the petition, whatever. Just bring back that indispensable smiley face. Losing the :2up: was enough trouble already 😛
