Printer help needed

Hey everyone, I'm trying to set things up so I'm the only one getting any use out of this printer. I've already figured out how to lock down the printing side of things, but here's the kicker: how do I stop someone else from just walking up and using the copier?

Which model are we talking about? I'm not convinced consumer-grade all-in-ones actually allow you to restrict specific functions by user—that’s usually something you only see on business or enterprise-level gear.

What part isn't clicking? Are we talking about the fax machine or the print cartridge?

I’m totally lost on how to lock this thing down so people stop running off with my copies. I was skimming through the manual and saw there are two different ways to do it, but here's the kicker: if I go with the first method, will it actually hold up if the computer is powered off? Like, is someone still gonna be able to just walk up and start hitting the copy button even if the PC is dead?
