Does anyone know where I can find some spots for skydiving and what the damage is like? Also, if you've actually done it, I'd love to hear how it went.

So I'm standing right there on the Golden Gate Bridge and honestly, I haven't got a clue what the price tag is

Last year at the Golden Gate Bridge, they had $97 + $20 if you want the footage.
I did it once and I’m hitting it up again this year when I'm passing through.
The rush is insane—honestly, I can't even describe it to anyone who hasn't done it, mostly because it's just that unique. Freefalling isn't exactly your Tuesday afternoon activity, so words don't really cut it for someone who hasn't felt it. The actual drop lasts about 2.5 seconds, but with all those new sensations flooding your brain, it feels way longer (felt like 10 seconds to me). And the drop isn't even the end; you spend another half minute being tossed up and down, which is pretty much perfect. Honestly? The closest comparison is an orgasm—not to exaggerate, especially if it's your first time. If you're planning on doing it, think it through—really think. Picture yourself standing on that bridge, staring down a 130-foot drop, trying to summon the guts to actually push off. It's not easy even thinking about it, let alone doing it for real. It’s easiest if you just convince yourself it’s like a ride at a theme park and that nothing bad could possibly happen while you're there just having fun.

I totally believe you, man. I’ve had buddies swear up and tear up saying they were gonna go through with it, and when I told them they were crazy, things got heated...
around 1 AM, I actually drove them right out to the middle of the Golden Gate Bridge just so they could see the drop, and honestly? Everyone backed out immediately because looking down from there is just straight-up terrifying 🙏 🙏

You gotta have some serious guts to pull that off, so major respect to you 👍

Right now, I don't have any info on what's happening at the Golden Gate Bridge this year
but, I did see they're setting up and prepping for skydiving over by the canyon
and I know they do it at Coachella too (though, honestly, Coachella isn't really my scene)

look, you're better off just trying it yourself so you can realize how hard it is to actually describe that rush.....
I jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge—it was about 130 feet—and honestly... I'm speechless
The canyon jump is like 180 feet, which is an extra 50 feet, so the first chance I get, I'm diving in headfirst.. 😍

I took the plunge from the Golden Gate Bridge about two years ago. Honestly? It was absolute madness.
The catch is that once you're standing on that platform, you have to push off yourself. There’s no backing out and no one is going to force your hand. The guy with you just counts down from three. As for me—I didn't hear a single word of that countdown. The adrenaline rush is just off the charts; it leaves you wired for the rest of the day. I even saw people standing right there on the edge who completely lost their nerve at the last second. It is absolutely worth it.
I’m planning to do it again at the first opportunity, though next time I’d prefer an even higher bridge. 🙂

I went skydiving in Thailand from about 165 feet... It was such an incredible rush! 🙂

I'm dying to go skydiving, but I haven't found a decent spot yet. When I finally do it, I'm going all in, though I really hope I don't crap my pants. Honestly, I'm already worried my heart might just quit on me🙂

I totally believe you guys, for real—I actually got goosebumps just reading that. Once I jump, I'll make sure someone films it so I can send it over and prove I didn't totally screw up🙂

Yesterday I went skydiving over Sibelius. It was 👍
It happened toward the end of July—and look, I know I paid $63.

Personally, I’d love to try something even higher up, though honestly, even this 130-foot drop isn't half bad. 😵

Does anyone know if there's any skydiving happening around Chicago? I was looking into jumping off some bridges—maybe somewhere around 130 to 200 feet—but I can't seem to find anything online... if anyone knows anything, please let me know... thanks in advance! Cheers, guys...😉

So, this is basically how things looked down at the Sibelius pier towards the end of July:





The cost was just $73, and if you wanted $20 to have everything burned onto a DVD—and I mean per disc, not per person, so you could actually split the cost with a few friends if you were feeling frugal—it was a steal. Honestly, such a great deal, and the crew hanging out on the bridge were absolute legends.

They have it in New York City... costs about $35 to $55... I'm planning on going next spring once the season starts. It's a 200-foot drop, jumping off a construction crane... right into the Mississippi River near Central Park... at least if you slip, you can take a dip. 🙂

Man, as soon as I turn 18, I’m definitely going skydiving. No fear here—I don't see what there is to be afraid of. I’ll just gear up and jump, knowing everything will be totally fine. 🙂

you can't exactly "run and jump" into skydiving like you're jumping off a pier

There’s skydiving out in Miami where the crane height reaches about 130 feet, and I think the price tag is around $45. That includes a DVD of the jump, a t-shirt, and a certificate 🙂
and honestly, the whole experience is just phenomenal.
I’m actually thinking about trying a jump off the Golden Gate Bridge soon, so if anyone happens to know what the going rate is for that...

I’m honestly curious to see how you plan to get any momentum when you can barely even stand on the platform itself. You take one tiny step and—boom—you're falling. If you want to make this work, you really need to dig your heels in and push off as hard as you can right from the start.
