How much of a difference does it actually make?
I don't mean lighting up several times a day, but just having one session once a week?
Is that even considered healthy?

Then again, what's really "healthy" these days? We're all just living for the moment anyway...

Ban smoking on Slack at work!

Look, I’m not saying I’m an addict or anything—I just happen to smoke on the weekends and during the work week too.

Is that still bad for you?

Look, honestly, lighting up some natural charcoal is probably better than hitting a cigarette. At least charcoal is natural, whereas cigarettes are totally processed junk... though even then, don't overdo it. It’s pretty much proven by now that excessive smoking is linked to lung cancer.🙄

At least with natural stuff, you know what you're getting, whereas cigarettes are just a bunch of processed chemicals. That said, don't go overboard—it's common knowledge that smoking too much is a direct ticket to lung cancer. 🙄

Honestly, I'm right there with you on that one.

Instead of chain-smoking twenty cigarettes a day, just indulge once a week—say, every Friday—and call it a day.

It feels like everyone around me is out there grinding and making moves every single day, while I haven't even broken a sweat...
I honestly believe that one of these days, I’m finally going to step up and get in on the action!!!

I honestly believe I'll cave and try one eventually!!!

Look, if you really want to, you will—but this is actually about your character and stuff like that....
If you actually have confidence in yourself and the choices you make, then a few puffs shouldn't bother you at all. But if you're easily swayed or too worried about what everyone else thinks, then that’s where the real issue lies....

Haven't tried it yet, but I'm definitely planning to... though nothing stronger than that, obviously.

I gave it a shot and actually enjoyed it. 🙂

I tend to consume this regularly, mostly because I’m not much of a drinker. If I touch alcohol, I end up feeling nauseous two days later—honestly, that’s about the worst part of the whole experience for me. 😁

That is the truth. 👍

I was like a teenager back when I tried it a few times... but honestly, I just didn't get a kick out of it, so I stopped.

Nowadays, I have zero interest in it and don't see the appeal at all.

I have some buddies who have been smoking every single day for ten years now, and you can really tell—their memory is slipping, they struggle to focus, and their coordination just isn't what it used to be.

So...

Everyone has their own thing... but I don't need that. I hope this helps someone out.

I suppose I went through a similar phase during my high school years, where I definitely overdid it for a few seasons. There was a stretch where I wouldn't dream of smoking fewer than ten cigarettes a day—usually one before class, one during the long break, one after school, maybe two or three in the afternoon, and then another right before hitting the sack. 😬

I’ve moved past all that now, though not too long ago, my buddies would come over to my place to do pushups every single day, yet I never once felt any urge to join them. 😁

The thing is, you eventually notice yourself becoming a bit duller, though I guess once you quit, you sort of return to your baseline self. It feels somewhat awkward because when you smoke too much, everything starts revolving around weed; it gets stuck in your head, and suddenly you lose interest in other things like cars, PC builds, or sports. It creates this strange sensation when you hang out with a group discussing those topics and you just end up sitting there in silence. 😬

In general, if kept to moderate amounts, I think it's somewhat acceptable—perhaps even better than some of the things society considers "normal" or socially acceptable.

The funniest part is watching people talk trash about stuff they won't even touch—while they’re busy getting absolutely trashed on booze every single weekend.

Seriously, alcohol is like 500,000 times more destructive and way worse than weed.

Yeah, I smoke weed every day. I’m in college, I work, I live with my boyfriend, and my friends have different habits—some smoke, some don't—but honestly, weed doesn't mess with my life at all. I really don't get how anyone can look at someone who smokes and immediately label them a junkie. At the end of the day, weed is basically just as bad as cigarettes, except it actually helps you chill out and relax instead of just killing you.
Weed isn't a drug, it's a lifestyle.
