Gaslighting—a term thrown around far too loosely these days. It’s become a convenient catch-all for anyone simply being told they're wrong. kaže:
The madness has officially started to follow me. I’ve got one guy acting like he misses the old days of the mid-century era—another who’s a hardcore nationalist—and a third who’s just a political hack tied to some major party machine. They all start crawling out of the woodwork the second they hear one of their own is on his deathbed.

Sounds like "The Twilight Zone."

I honestly have no clue. I've never seen that movie.

I’m starting to notice a pattern. One guy is a total Yuppie nostalgic. The second is a die-hard nationalist. The third is just some corporate shill for a major political party. They all seem to crawl out of the woodwork the moment they hear one of their own is on their deathbed.

Now that the director’s career is finally taking off, it wouldn't be a bad idea to greenlight a sequel to this cult classic. Personally, I think seeing these characters navigate life in today's world would be fascinating. It'd be interesting to see where they all ended up.

I remember watching this when I was 18.
Morbid, twisted, boring, monotonous, slow... I had about 15 different dreams where I asked myself why the hell I was even watching this and if I should just turn it off, but I didn't.
A MASTERPIECE 10/10. Maybe the greatest film ever made. It's the closest thing to a divine experience the seventh art has ever achieved.
