I’ve never actually gone through a gastroscopy, but I can’t stop thinking that maybe I should just bite the bullet and get it done. This discomfort in my stomach has been hanging around for way too long now, and honestly, it’s pretty unsettling—some days it’s a dull ache and other days it feels much more intense. I’ve been trying really hard to watch what I eat and stick to a clean diet, but it doesn't feel like it's making much of a difference... I'm mostly just relying on Pepto-Bismol right now, but I wonder if that's even the right move... 🤷
Have you ever dealt with bad breath as a symptom of this kind of thing?
When it comes to doctors, my best advice is to just pick one specialist and really commit to their guidance. If you keep jumping around between different people, you’re just going to end up totally lost and confused. If it turns out they aren't the right fit or their treatment isn't working, then yeah, just find someone else—that's basically how navigating the healthcare system works these days, right? 😢
