This movie really dives deep into those old-school values we seem to be losing... George gets laid off because he’s been replaced by some new tech, so he heads out to a small rural town where it feels like time just stopped moving entirely. His mentor sits him down and tells stories about repairing old Ford engines, they sit around the campfire, and there's this constant, lingering scent of bourbon in the air. Work can definitely wait when you're in a place like that! George realizes he's stepped into a world that is the absolute polar opposite of the environment that shaped him—that cold, cutthroat version of early American capitalism... Master Gajaš really serves as the living embodiment of those moral codes that make people miss the way things used to be...

It would probably be someone's favorite Austrian film if they watched it, though I wouldn't say it's the absolute best out there. Movies like "Singin' in the Rain" or "The Tree of Life" are much better...
