It’s been quite a while since the arrest took place.
The police-led commission tasked with digging into the details hasn't said a single word.

But I’m certain of one thing: if there hadn't been a camera rolling, Krčmarek would have walked away with a serious beating. Then, the police would have released some polished statement claiming he resisted arrest and that they followed protocol perfectly. That's how they usually spin things after an "incident."

There’s a lot more to this than meets the eye;

- First off, where is this neighbor who supposedly filed the complaint?
- These kids are way too young to even hold an air rifle, let alone use one.
- Why is the police department claiming there's a warrant when there clearly isn't one?!
- And what gave them the right to trespass onto his property in the first place?
- From what I can tell, you're only allowed to use force under specific circumstances,
Smith didn't commit any crime, wasn't violent, and was merely offering
passive resistance.
- Filing a complaint against Smith for disturbing the peace,
while he was standing on his own damn property.
- Then they go after the person filming, which basically means I could get reported
if I filmed a cardinal on my porch with my phone.
- You can clearly hear Smith asking the officer why they were there,
which is a perfectly normal question, yet the cop loses it the moment he sees a camera.
- The police claim Smith insulted the officers, so if that were actually true, he’d be charged
with insulting a public official—but it simply didn't happen.
- Local news sites are already flooded with suspicious comments claiming the video
was edited to make it look like Smith was insulting the cops to justify
their little stunt.

In my view, the police were sent in on an intimidation mission that blew up once the camera started rolling and things spiraled out of control.
The government just didn't want some veteran organizing protests right before the election.

Something about this doesn't sit right with me.

First;

it’s anyone's guess who actually targeted the neighbor with the air rifle—was it kids or Krčmarek?
If they're claiming it was children, I’m calling BS. The video clearly shows
they're way too young for this kind of thing.

Second;

if Krčmarek is the one being accused of using the air rifle, a few logical holes pop up. Why would he even bother? And when would he have done it? He was out at the protest Saturday night, and the police didn't show up until Sunday. Unless this happened much earlier?

Third;

anyone who’s ever had to file a report knows how passive local law enforcement can be. They don't exactly break a sweat over minor disputes. Honestly, I find it hard to believe they’d swarm someone this aggressively just because a neighbor made a complaint. Cops deal with endless piles of neighbors tattling on each other every single day; if there isn't hard evidence or something major going on, they usually just brush it off to avoid dealing with petty neighborhood drama. 🙂

Fourth;

how does it work out that they raided Krčmarek's place exactly one day after the protest? And the fact that one of them wasn't even wearing a badge—is that just a coincidence too?!
