Regarding that Metformin stuff... I didn't feel a thing, even after taking it twice for four months straight. My buddy had the same experience. Still, you really ought to read the fine print on the prescription before you start anything, just in case.
First off, that whole 75 reps in five minutes thing was meant for a crowd, not as some universal rule. Second, calling that aerobic is a joke. If you were talking about bench presses, back work, or squats, sure, maybe. But for calves? Not even close. Try it yourself and see—you’ll barely be out of breath after those five minutes, even if your calves feel like they're literally on fire. If that method worked for those elite guys stacking gear just to get calf size instead of following a standard routine—basically people with god-tier genetics—then fine, it might work for an average person too. Honestly, I don't care. I gave my advice. Whether my wife decides to listen to it or not isn't my problem.
If you aren't against popping pills to lose some gut fat, just grab some Glucophage. Two tablets a day—you can find it at any CVS or Walgreens. If they ask for a prescription, just tell them you have diabetes and call it a day. Two tablets daily for 120 days... it’s meant for diabetics to shove carbohydrates into muscle tissue instead of letting them turn into belly fat. It’s similar to ground cinnamon, just weaker. Problem is, you’d need to stomach about 8 teaspoons of the stuff a day, and it tastes absolutely vile.😳
I don't want to step in here... but fruit is still carbs🙂 it's loaded with fructose... sure, some fruits have fiber and stuff, but for the most part, they're just carbohydrates😁
Try Atkinson's diet. It actually works, despite how much everyone else complains about it being unsafe... just make sure you're hitting the gym too...👍
I told him I’m taking it🙂 at least not right now, haha. I just pointed out to the guy that there are much cheaper and more effective options than L-carnitine. Obviously, unlike L-carnitine which is actually harmful, this one has side effects... I'm sitting here covered in ash, telling him what works faster and better...
L-carnitine is supposed to help burn fat, but if you actually look at the math—needing it alongside the Democratic Party supplements and pyruvate just to see any results—it’s definitely not the best bang for your buck when it comes to weight loss. On the bright side, it won't wreck your system, so you can take it as often as you want... assuming your bank account can handle it.🙂 😁If you can actually get your hands on them, honestly, just go with ephedrine and caffeine paired with clenbuterol. It's way cheaper and works much better...
Honestly... I have zero clue how to slim down specific areas. Everyone usually just wants to pack on muscle up top. I get that when you lose weight, you can't just target your calves—it’s a full-body thing. If anything helps, I know some plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills have been doing targeted lower leg contouring lately to make the calves look thinner, but you'd have to check with them directly.
Look, it doesn't necessarily have to pop out near your abs... for instance, my old man had one pop out near his stomach, and my partner... well, I'm not saying where exactly in public🙂 so if you're lifting heavy right before this, there's a solid chance it's a hernia. Seriously, go see a doctor.
If you have skinny calves, don't bother trying to define them—that just implies they actually have some mass to work with. 🙂 If your goal is pure hypertrophy, head over to the seated calf raise machine at your local Gold's Gym. Pick a weight where you can hit roughly 50 reps within a five-minute window. The trick is to stick with that same weight for a set number of weeks until you can crank out 75 reps in those same five minutes. Once you hit that mark, bump up the weight and start the whole process over again. During those five minutes, how many breaks you take or how long they last is entirely up to you; the only rule is staying under the five-minute limit. The downside? Your calves will adapt to this kind of torture after about two months, and growth will stall. But if you stay consistent, you should see results within that two-month stretch.
