I can’t help but grin seeing that we ended up talking about women's health—that definitely wasn't a fluke😛. I just wanted to add one last little thing to wrap up this thread, which somehow survived against all odds. My spiritual child... and that is... both you, Drew Richardson82, and I are just way too pathologically proud. We are such massive "individuals," totally stuck in our ways, that we could never actually settle down and be just regular, boring people. The only way we'll ever find peace is through total defeat; only then will we calm down. Pray to whatever God you believe in that it happens while you're still breathing, though it feels like we all worship the same deity: Me and Free Will. A complete self-defeat by our own hands😁Only true transformation can save us from the guilt, the hate, the suffering, and the chaos—all the mess we create or accidentally attract into our lives. Hey man

Now that I’m sitting here thinking about it, my dear pupati... looking back at everything we used to write, all those debates we had, and all those copy-pasted songs and Bob Dylan quotes of yours... did we actually take away a single lesson from it all??

I sure didn't.

I just threw myself headfirst into the world... went totally nuts. I embraced my own madness and finally found myself... though finding myself mostly felt like wandering around lost. Whatever I could do, I just grumbled my way through, wandering along while holding my own hand like two total idiots. But whatever... it's all a lie. And so it goes, as long as this passive resistance keeps me going.

Man, how time flies... we were writing all this crap—so sincere and full of wonder—just six or seven years ago. Remember when I used to say "time is thickening"? Yeah, I think that actually happened. We aren't just growing in space; it's not just that we're getting bigger compared to our chairs, the bar, or the ceiling, or taking up more room in the house... we're growing in time, too. There's less time for everything, and fewer things left that can fit alongside us.

And I lost you somewhere along the way, my dear pupati, my dragon... lost you in this thickening time, as if the compression of time squeezed both you and your madness right out of my orbit while I was busy searching for myself. Latest news? Doesn't matter where. As long as there's boobs. You love boobs. Boobs are great. A friend of mine just got back from Chile with a whole new set of them. You would've loved them. I'm still obsessed with tangents, by the way. My entire freaking life is just one big, massive digression. One job after another, then laughter, then crying, then an idea, then a thought, then death... and we're all getting closer to it. I wonder if we'll keep growing in time over there, or if we'll just become part of the decor.

On top of everything, there's no Fear... man, how well we've aged. We were so original. All those nipples, rashes, HPV, toothaches, tumors, and other serious, nasty illnesses... we were just entertaining ourselves in our own little world—a world of madness, anxiety, Fear, and panic. And honestly, anyone who hasn't lived through that will never understand how original and brilliant minds actually functioned on this thread.

Pupati, my dragon, my best man....👍 🙂

Relax with some Guinness, Kenny. Just pop a Xanax if you haven't hit morphine levels yet.🙂 😁

Don't you see? We were writing on women's health forums; it's time for us to metamorphose into hermaphrodites. Being gay isn't okay.😛

I honestly don't know who this guy is, just casually throwing diagnoses around like they're candy... Erich Fromm, seriously? Come on!!!!!!!!! He's the one philosopher who actually wrote a book about love. If he had put Nietzsche in there, maybe I'd buy what he's selling. But this guy? He's just wildly speculating and taking shots in the dark!
Schizophrenia - General Discussion in Psychology & Therapy ·
Hey, translate that into American English regarding schizoaffective. From what I gather, there’s actually a pretty big distinction between schizoaffectivity and Schizophrenia. It feels like it confuses people on this thread quite a bit. If I recall correctly, you even admitted in your last post that you're dealing with schizoaffective—though if you ask me, it doesn't seem like you fit either category perfectly. Maybe it's a third thing entirely, like a milder form of psychosis? It could lean toward schizoaffective, but I doubt it's Schizophrenia. As for those famous faces, I'm certain Socrates ended up on that list by mistake. He was one of the most rational people in history, a man with incredible objectivity and skepticism, especially when it came to testing the reach of his own mind and then the minds of everyone else around him.
Regarding Buddha, it might be true, but he was probably just schizogenic in nature. Honestly, you could probably throw a whole heap of people into that category... maybe even 40 percent of the population of this little earth!🙄 😉

I think there’s a website out there run by N/A. This guy has really dug deep into OCD research—and look, he isn't claiming to be some ultimate authority, but I think his insights could actually help us out. He’s dealt with these "disorders" firsthand himself, and honestly, he might still be navigating them today. I’d love to drop a link or upload a document here, but I’m totally lost on how to do that while I'm juggling so much on my plate. If anyone on the forum knows the trick, would you mind doing me a huge favor and setting that up?
Also, I spotted a book in Scholastic🙄 about OCD published by Niagara Falls, but my wallet is feeling a bit light right now, so I can't grab it. Plus, I have no clue if it's actually any good—has anyone here had a chance to flip through it yet?
When I was digging through Franklin’s work—you know, the psychiatrist/psychotherapist/speech therapist who wrote "Man's Search for Meaning"—I found a ton of case studies involving OCD. It looks like most people actually moved past it spontaneously! I also think someone around here might have mentioned his methods before, specifically things like dereflection and paradoxical intention.
At the end of the day, there's no denying this disorder is "relentless" and stubborn, but it is curable. Maybe we can even wrap our heads around why it happens. Either way, it all stems from the Unconscious.🙄 👍

So, yes, it’s certainly possible. It just seems like his hallucinations continued, but he simply stopped perceiving them as separate from reality.

I guess we're just waiting for our friend here to chime in, since they've got schizoaffective disorder rather than just schizophrenia.

But let's get back to that "Resurrection in spirit" thing—the kind the Catholic Church forbids in any form through their ten main propaganda hubs. 👍
And definitely not that "Resurrection in the flesh" stuff you Satanists seem to love so much. 👍

Here is how they define Resurrection through sin: "Sinning is just being human, so go ahead, brothers! Go out, multiply, and totally wreck the climate, the plants, and the animals. Just don't bother with holistic consciousness if you can help it! Forgiveness is divine! And it simply, don't care!" 😍 🙂 🙂

Honestly, I think Catholics are just hypocrites who don't actually carry the Resurrection within themselves.

Hehe, this post of yours is pretty enlightening (who would've thought 😍)! First off, we need to make some brand new cards. It’s just like Nietzsche said in *Zarathustra*: "Discard the old decks, bring out the new ones, and deal again!!" On this specific card, it would be God, but not Yahweh—not the Father or the Son, but the real, true God 😍, right, buddy 👍?
Second, I actually started this thread asking about the Resurrection in the flesh, not "in the Spirit." Though, let's be honest, whenever we talk about spirituality, it's basically dualism, which is why we all end up putting "spirituality" in quotation marks 😍.
Third, I'm totally lost on that part about the flora and fauna, man
. >Fourth, do you seriously believe that "Catholic jerks" don't have the resurrection within them? I mean, Catholics, Orthodox, Protestants, Buddhists, Hindus, and Animist jerks alike... they're all the same 😲. 😛
Fifth, I have no idea why the multi-quote option isn't working for me 😕. My post would look way cleaner if it did

I get it, though. It’s definitely easier that way. You just sit there, laughing, thinking about absolutely nothing, and maybe—just maybe—someone will mistake you for being smart.
Unfortunately, this time, the joke is only on you two, because everyone else is (literally) speechless.

I mean, it was pretty funny though.
The truth is, it's just BOR+Sean Martinez4😕 😕 😉

Mark Perez2 said:I just can't catch a break. Just when I think I’m finally acting normal and trying not to nitpick every little thing, I go out and buy a pair of sandals that are actually defective... I honestly envy people who don't get worked up over stuff like quality control or manufacturing defects.

Look, I really think everything is just relative, you know? Like, it’s all about perspective. For instance, I honestly find myself getting a little jealous sometimes of how disciplined my girlfriend is. It’s wild! Take my routine after a long shift at the plant—I’ll come home, kick my feet up, and just sit there sipping a coffee while she’s already moving around. To her, sitting down to relax before getting things done is just totally out of the question. And don't even get me started on the shower situation! Man, I would love to jump in the shower right away, but let's be real—I’m lazy. For her, hopping in the shower the second she walks through the door is just automatic. No thinking involved! The thing is, I end up feeling this massive wave of guilt, though. I’m sitting there, drinking my coffee, knowing damn well I’m still covered in grime from work. Part of me thinks, "Man, I should probably clean up first so I can actually enjoy this brew properly." It’s a constant tug-of-war between being lazy and wanting to be a decent human being!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to jump in here because I was thinking about that whole situation earlier. You know how it goes—one minute everything is smooth sailing, and the next, you're staring at a total mess! It’s like when you try to fix a leaky faucet in your kitchen and suddenly you've got a literal indoor swimming pool in your basement. Total chaos! Anyway, I've been mulling over the points made by northernmarlin79, and honestly? I think they hit the nail right on the head. It’s all about perspective, right? Like looking at a blueprint versus looking at the actual house. Sometimes the plan looks perfect on paper, but then you start building and realize you forgot to account for the wind or the soil quality. I also caught what James Allen6 was saying, and man, talk about a reality check! It really makes you stop and think. We all tend to get tunnel vision sometimes, focusing so hard on one little detail that we miss the big picture entirely. It's just like driving through heavy fog on a highway near Chicago—you can only see a few feet in front of you, so you have to trust the road and stay alert for the unexpected! Just my two cents! Hope you guys are having an awesome day!

My room is always a total disaster zone, and honestly, it makes life such a headache! It’s like I walk into my own space and just start stumbling around blindly because I can't even see the floor under all the clutter. It really bites me later on, too—I'll be looking for something super important and realize I have zero clue where it went because everything is buried. And don't even get me started on the TV remotes! They're basically invisible half the time. Meanwhile, my roommate keeps her stuff perfectly organized; her remotes are always exactly where they should be. It's wild!

Look, look, look—I get it! I totally hear what you're saying. But honestly? At the end of the day, the whole point is that there are just so many useful perks involved!

Look, at the end of the day, everyone’s got their own little quirks, right? It's like how every single person you meet is basically a walking mix of superpowers and total disasters. You can't have one without the other! It's just how we're wired.
I honestly feel like there’s no such thing as a truly pure character anymore. It’s like trying to find a perfectly clean white shirt in a mud pit—it just doesn't happen! But if you ask me? I think that lack of perfection really hits the OKP character the hardest. It just sticks in their gears, you know?😁 😘

northernmarlin79 said:Hey everyone...

I’m definitely a frequent hand washer, though I wouldn't say I've hit that level of obsessive scrubbing lately... honestly, my absolute favorite thing is getting the chance to scrub them down with a little brush... I just can't stand it when I notice someone has dirt under their fingernails, and the feeling of touching hands that are all warm and sweaty is just gross, not to mention how much human hair bugs me... I also have this thing where I need everything organized perfectly, so it really gets under my skin if someone just moves something out of place without thinking... mind you, I'm not talking about everything in life, some things can be messy or whatever, but I have my specific rituals, like when I buy a big bag of assorted candies, I'll pour them all out, count every single one, and eat them by starting with whichever flavor I have too many of, then once the counts are even, I'll eat them in a perfect rotation—one of this kind, one of that kind, one of the third kind—and then start the whole cycle over again... and don't even get me started on hanging posters or pictures on the wall, because I need them measured out to the exact inch so everything looks totally symmetrical and right...
I don't take any medication since we actually have a doctor in the family and I'm currently working through my own biomedical studies... we've all decided that what I have is just a personality quirk, nothing serious, and it hasn't really changed or gotten worse over the years, so it's totally manageable...

What are your thoughts?

thanks for being so real
I actually find reading these posts really interesting. Most of your little struggles seem almost charming to me, though I know they probably don't feel "charming" when you're dealing with them!
From what I've seen, most neurotic tendencies just sort of fade away on their own after a while.

Fear isn't going to help you escape it. Look, death is part of who you are. Everything between your first breath and your last is just part of the assignment you're working through right now. Just accept it! Live with the fact that you're mortal. Once you shift your consciousness, you'll realize there's actually nothing to be afraid of. It's all about perspective.
Death is just one clause in the contract you signed yourself, just like birth was...😁

No way in hell am I doing that!!!!!!!!!!!😛
My old man always used to tell me, "Son, nobody ever does anything like this voluntarily!!"😳 🙄

That’s exactly it! It’s like I’m riding this roller coaster of fear and pain right up until the moment I pass out, then boom—I die all over again that same night, only to be resurrected fresh and ready to go the next morning.🙂

I can’t even remember my own birthday! Honestly, at this rate, I’ll probably have to wait until I’m old enough to get some serious memory loss just to stand a chance of recalling it.😁 And that way, I won't even know!😁
Now I just need to figure out a game plan to dump everything onto that guy with Alzheimer's as fast as possible! To kick things off, I'm going to go totally silent—no reading and no posting on the forums for a while.😛 😎

So what’s your angle here?!!
You want me to sit here and tell you that your conscience is eating you alive? That you're just a bunch of bad people, total liars, and that's exactly why all that anxiety is hitting you so hard? Like, you're suppressing everything and just waiting for some cosmic lightning bolt to strike because you can't even face the thought of death? Honestly, it's like watching a group of people too scared to even look in the mirror! Are you feeling satisfied now?!!!??

Bed. Just throwing another theory out there into the void🤣 🙂
But hey, I’m not backing down. I’ve learned a thing or two from those obsessive types—you can't let anyone walk all over you, no matter what😁
Don't sweat it, guys. This too shall pass. Don't let anyone try to convince you that you're the bad guy. You aren't. We're all good people here👍
