While you were busy Googling (thanks for the help, by the way), I was messing around in the BIOS and found exactly what you linked. I just couldn't figure out these four options: gfxo-gpp-igfx-pci
Then the order of those letters starts shifting. Tried three different combos, and now both my monitor and the TV are running off the igfx-whatever🙂 Perfect, thanks!

Checked my BIOS, but I'm not seeing what you're talking about. Everything's enabled except for some LAN setting that's turned off, but that doesn't seem related to the GPU. Can you walk me through which specific setting we're looking for?
One thing's bugging me though—if I turn on the integrated graphics, does my NVIDIA GeForce GTX series stop working? Because that would be a total pain if I have to mess with the BIOS every single time I want to watch a movie or play a game.

My GPU is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX series. It’s about 4 years old, roughly the same age as the rest of my rig. When I first got the PC, I didn't have a monitor, so I just hooked it up to my TV via DisplayPort and it worked fine. Later, I picked up a monitor, and for some reason—can't even remember why—I've got this VGA cable plugged into the DVI port on the case using an adapter. It's been sitting like that forever. Now I'm trying to hook up the TV via DisplayPort to watch movies, but it’s a bust. The computer won't recognize it at all. Tried the "project" settings, updated the graphics drivers... nothing. To make matters worse, if I unplug the VGA from that DVI adapter and plug it straight into the VGA port on the tower, the monitor stays dead too. So now it looks like neither the VGA nor the DisplayPort is working. And I know for a fact the DisplayPort used to work.

Alright, thanks for the heads-up. So, definitely not worth it then. I don't get why the retail price is over $850 (this was at Best Buy, and I snagged that low price because I'm at work and these machines were slightly used).
It sounded way too cheap to me, and honestly, I would've pulled the trigger if you guys hadn't broken it down for me.
Anyway, I've got a killer gaming rig at home. Built it for about $500 and it handles all the latest titles perfectly. Only issue is the cooler is loud as hell and the case runs hot, so I need to upgrade. Any suggestions? I'm running an AMD Phenom, though I can't remember the exact specs off the top of my head.

That’s all I’ve got, unfortunately. That's the part that's bugging me too. All I know for sure is the case is an HP Compaq 8300 elita MT He Chassis. Most likely, the graphics are just integrated.

Just watched Rushmore—wasn't really my thing. A few decent lines here and there, but all in all, I'm not impressed. Moonrise Kingdom is way better. Watching The Royal Tenenbaums later today.

The film is gorgeous. Honestly, I loved every second of it. My biggest regret is just now finding out about Wes Anderson 🤦 I've already downloaded his entire filmography and I'm planning a marathon this week. Any suggestions on where to start?

5'9", 154 lbs. I’ve seriously never been this heavy. Seeing 154 on the scale... honestly, I almost lost it.
