Sorry, I have no clue what I'm actually supposed to do here.
I need some serious help here! I've got this Dell laptop with a Swedish keyboard layout. My wife tried to "fix" things by switching the settings to American characters and slapped some tiny stickers over the keys to compensate. Now, everything is acting completely haywire. One minute I can access stuff, and the next, nothing works. For example, I'll be able to pull up the National Weather Service or browse Reddit just fine, but then suddenly, eBay won't load at all. It’s totally random. We even had a tech guy take a look at it, but he couldn't figure out what was actually broken. Every other laptop and computer in the house works perfectly fine.
Anyone got any clues???????????
Look, I don't have any major issues or anything, but my prolapse is basically hanging way out past the vaginal opening. I’m not dealing with any bladder leakage at all and my bladder capacity seems totally fine.
Anyone else dealing with this kind of thing?
I just left my OBGYN over on Main Street, and she dropped the bomb: I’ve got cystocele—basically a bladder prolapse. She says the therapy has to be
surgical because the prolapse is pretty significant.
Look, if anyone here has gone through this, or knows someone who has, please hit me up. I need the real scoop on what the surgery is actually like and how the recovery process goes.
Honestly, I'm feeling super uneasy and pretty freaked out—mostly just because I'm flying blind here.
My lawyer totally dropped the ball while drafting our appeal to the Superior Court. He completely missed mentioning two final rulings from that same court that are directly tied to this case and the Bureau of Land Management’s decision—rulings that are totally on our side! Those precedents prove that the District Court’s ruling was straight-up wrong. To make matters worse, the appeal was filed late and it's honestly a mess. The deadlines have already passed, and the case just hit the docket at the Superior Court a few days ago. I need to know if there's any way I can step in as the client to fix this. It’s not even a massive amount of money, so we won't be looking at a Supreme Court review, and I'm terrified the Superior Court is going to rule against us just because of these omissions. Is there any kind of extraordinary legal remedy that would let me get these crucial pieces of evidence in front of the higher court? We need them to actually reach a fair decision.
I really need an answer on this ASAP---Thanks
Solid advice—thanks, definitely worth a shot.
Is there actually some kind of administrative desk at the local community health center where I can find out which doctors are failing to log insurance numbers? Honestly, it feels pretty ridiculous because I’ve already gone to the nurses twice to ask about switching doctors, and they just keep insisting everything is filled out correctly. I’m not about to go running from office to office like a lost puppy all day.
Thanks
Hey, Angela Wright! I just went down a rabbit hole and skimmed through this whole thread you started back on January 17, 2007. Honestly, I’m blown away by how much warmth and patience you've shown everyone all these years. Seriously, props to you. I’ve got a quick question for you, though. When people talk about symptomatic therapy versus palliative care—are we talking about the exact same thing? If they aren't identical, what's the actual deal? What's the real difference? Cheers!
Angela Wright said:Look, at that age, getting any kind of heavy-duty treatment is a massive uphill battle. There are certain chemo drugs they might throw at you just to try and slow things down, but let's be real—most of the care basically boils down to palliative stuff. It’s all about managing pain and trying to make sure whatever quality of life is left doesn't suck too much.
YEAH, they told us they’d focus on symptomatic therapy. What does that actually look like in practice?
So, here’s the deal. An elderly guy, 78 years old, just got hit with a liver cancer diagnosis. He’s digging his heels in and refusing pretty much any kind of medical treatment. I’m asking this on behalf of a friend—she isn't exactly tech-savvy—regarding her dad. The doctors are basically saying he’s looking at a few months left, tops. What do you guys know about this? Any insights or experiences that might help us wrap our heads around what's coming?
So, five days ago, I got absolutely slaughtered by mosquitoes all over my body. The next day, I went ahead and slathered everything in Synopen, and now most of those bumps are just barely visible. But the three bites on my face? They’re still bright red and look like little swollen welts. It doesn't even itch anymore, but man, it looks terrible. I started using Garamycin yesterday, but honestly, I'm seeing zero improvement. I have a huge meeting this Monday, so if anyone knows what actually works to clear this up fast, please help a girl out.
So, I’m planning on picking up some helium balloons tomorrow. Does anyone know if there's a shop that actually stocks them around town? I'll be driving in from the direction of suburban Maryland. If anyone has the scoop, I'd really appreciate the help!
Finally ditched the cast and powered through over ten physical therapy sessions. My arm mobility is slowly starting to come back, which is a win. Everything would be golden if it weren't for this freaking throbbing pain that keeps waking me up countless times throughout the night. Has anyone else dealt with these brutal nighttime aches? How much longer does this crap last? During the day, I feel fine, but man, the nights are rough.😕
