He keeps me hanging for a couple of days and then I’m ghosted for two weeks straight.😍 I'm hitting the gym hard now, in my second month, and since I'm getting my ID renewed, I might just go over there and give him a piece of my mind.😍
I spoke with my therapist today about those intrusive thoughts. Every time one of those irrational scenarios hits or I dwell on something embarrassing, my legs start aching—like someone is driving a nail straight into them.
briskgull27 said:??????????????? Look,🤣 Stop overthinking it. Everyone deals with some level of neuroticism. If meditation isn't working for you, try focusing on material pursuits instead. It's just another tool in the kit.🤣 😁 👍
I’m just terrified of accidentally hurting someone... but I actually saw a therapist today. She told me straight up that I don't have psychosis or anything extreme; it's just internal anxiety that I need to release. I really hope she's right.😍
I’ve tried ZAN, but it doesn’t do much if I’m not already relaxed—which, let's be honest, almost never happens. I heard there’s another option starting with the letter S. A year ago, I was feeling under the weather and accidentally took two of my dad’s allergy pills—Lexapro. It hit me like a freight train; I was basically out for twenty-four hours straight. Honestly? That’s exactly what I’m looking for. I want something with that kind of heavy-duty effect so I can just pass out immediately.😍
It’s more about these lingering thoughts. They still hit me whenever I'm around people. It triggers everything, makes me feel terrible, so I just keep my distance.
I was just thinking—all of us here who are a little mentally different (given this is a psychology forum, after all) should probably get together and host some kind of meetup. Imagine the chaos. What a night that would be.😍

Feeling any better now? Based on your posts, I'd say somewhat.🙂 I just hope it doesn't hit me. Given how this whole thing started... goosebumps. I don't even want to go there. Check my last post under the anxiety thread if you want to see what I mean... And don't even get me started on the intrusive thoughts.
Give people a chance. Among those friends you claim aren't "real," you might just find one or two who actually step up. Reconnect with old childhood buddies, meet someone new—it all happens in time.

Schizophrenia.
It’s a condition that consumes the entire personality. It's defined by highly specific disturbances in thought, perception, and affect. The most frequent, the most difficult, the most bizarre. In most cases, we’re looking at a chronic condition—sometimes even a lifelong one. The title means: a split soul. Intellectual capacity and emotional perception can become completely decoupled. It’s essentially autism.
Epidemiology. Risk of infection: 1%. The highest concentration of patients falls within the 22.9 to 26.7 age bracket.
Clinical picture. Onset typically occurs between ages 15 and 30. Even those closest to the situation fail to recognize it's an actual illness. The patient begins to lose interest in everything—their surroundings, themselves, even the hobbies they once lived for. They stop showing up for social obligations. That drive to improve their life? It just evaporates. They withdraw into themselves. Communication drops off. They spend hours lost in music or just locking themselves away in their rooms. Sometimes they’ll lie awake in bed for hours on end—occasionally even pulling the covers over their heads to shut out the world. They flip their entire schedule overnight. They stay up all night long—just pacing around, listening to music, or making out—and then when daytime actually rolls around, they’re either wide awake in bed or passed out. He’s plagued by dark, intrusive thoughts—the kind that aren't even clear to the patient at first—so he tries to mask them by projecting them onto everyone around him. Then comes the disruption of self-perception: the boundaries between the physical body and the surrounding environment begin to blur—leading to depersonalization and derealization. This isn't just some minor quirk; we’re talking about core symptoms of schizophrenia and psychosis where reality itself shifts. You see affective inversions, autism, and a steady abandonment of basic behavioral norms. It’s a breakdown.
THOUGHT DISORDERS Thought blocking, mutism, split opinions, dissociated views, "word salad," the total collapse of clarity in concepts and messaging, association disorders, and incoherent, disconnected speech.
Disorders of thought content. Fragmented thoughts—delusional, surreal, and completely detached from reality. Strategies for prosecution. Lately, patients have been under the delusion that they're actually part of some TV show.
Hallucinations. Auditory input—sums, noise, creaking, music. There is this "voice" that speaks directly to the patient. They listen to it. It creates a massive risk for suicide or homicide. These "voices" can also talk about the patient in the third person. Visual symptoms—often tied directly to auditory hallucinations. Somatization—the patient believes their body has been altered, or is currently undergoing changes, due to some external force. Radio waves and TV signals can actually shift the internal layout of your organs. A doctor implanted something inside him designed specifically to rearrange his anatomy. Imagine describing a pregnancy under those conditions. Then there are the sexual hallucinations.
Hallucinations? They aren't typical for schizophrenia. They point toward epilepsy instead.
Psychomotor activity—specifically hypokinesia, hyperkinesis, and stereotypy. Hypokinesia—a slowing down and reduction of movement that can eventually lead to complete stupor. They can stay in that same position for a while—think of it like a psychological cushion. Negativism—it manifests as food refusal, a total breakdown in social engagement, and fractured communication. Hyperkinesis—it manifests as catatonic restlessness. Intense, sudden agitation without any clear trigger. Constant, uncontrollable movements and pacing that simply cannot be stopped. Stereotypy—for instance, pacing incessantly from one bed to another. Mannerism—unnatural movements.
Diagnostic criteria: Thinking out loud. Patient #2 is conversing as if responding to auditory hallucinations. Three or more voices discussing a patient in the third person, critiquing his behavior. 4. Thought and/or emotion withdrawal. 5. Thought and/or feeling insertion. 6. Others can read a patient's mind. In other words, people know exactly what they're thinking. 7. Imposing and controlling will and impulses. 8. Cenesthesic hallucinations: This involves an intense awareness of one's own internal organs and their functions—essentially, a heightened, distorted perception of one's own bodily processes.
Based on this, I’m basically already schizophrenic. I don't hear voices or deal with hallucinations, but my thoughts? It's just a total mess of mental salad. My thought process is a complete disaster.😍
Forcing yourself to think isn't necessarily a sign of the actual disease, but if you don't take action immediately, things can spiral into a real mess.😍

It was fine at first. I’d spend all night surfing the web until 4 AM and still wake up naturally around 8 AM without an issue. Now? Forget it. There is no way I’m falling asleep before 2 AM, and by 4 AM, I’m just staring at the ceiling counting sheep.😠
Same here. I don't hit the hay until 3 or 4 in the morning, then I'm out by 5. Usually wide awake again by 1 PM.😍
-ana- said:I actually have a necklace and a cross from a pilgrimage site back home... man, I completely forgot about them. I think they might even be blessed, since they were bought there, right? 😬 But here’s the catch: the chain itself is a bit worn down... 🙄 My grandma was told it was solid silver, but it turned out just the cross was silver, not the whole thing. 🙄
It doesn't really matter. The main thing is that it's blessed. And if it isn't, you can always just bless it yourself.🙂
