The secret to seduction is objectifying women. in Psychology & Therapy ·
Nancy Bishop4 said:Myth.

It’s pretty clear you aren't reading for comprehension here. The point was that people who are physically attractive can basically get away with anything and have it framed as interesting—not that women exclusively want to be with them.

It might be worth taking a moment to really consider the psychological profile of the women who will eventually... I suppose I should probably add my two cents here, though I'm not entirely sure if anyone is looking for more input on this particular topic... I’ve been spending a lot of time lately reflecting on what actually makes a man compelling, beyond just the surface-level stuff we see in movies or on social media... It seems like there is such a profound difference between someone who is merely attractive and someone who possesses that genuine, magnetic interest that keeps you leaning in to hear what they have to say next... It isn't always about being the loudest person in the room or having some flashy lifestyle, but rather about a certain depth of character and an intellectual curiosity that feels authentic... I find myself wondering if we focus too much on the wrong traits when we talk about charisma, perhaps overlooking the quiet strength and the subtle nuances that truly make a person stand out in a crowd...

Jason Kim6 said:Exactly. If some guy looks like an Apollo walks up to a girl, everything he says is suddenly cool or interesting—he's just "smart," I guess. It’s easy to be charming when you're attractive. But if someone who isn't an Apollo—or is actually the opposite—approaches her, he's never smart enough or interesting enough; everything he says is just stupid and unfunny, simply because he doesn't have the perfect build or a handsome face. An Apollo can say anything and win. Meanwhile, some poor guy won't stand a chance even if he tries quoting the Bible, the Vedas, Schopenhauer, or Nietzsche—or even if he makes up his own quotes—it’s never quite good enough.

This isn't really how life works 😵
It's a well-known fact that women generally gravitate toward a good story...
Realistically, if we look at the entire male population on the planet, how many of them are actually Apollos? Maybe two percent at most... 🤔
So how is it possible that a much higher percentage of men are actually in relationships? 😉☕
Period talk: Questions and advice in Women's Health ·
I know you shouldn't play games with this kind of stuff, but I guess there's no other way to look at it...

Maybe I didn't explain myself very clearly:
I took Yasmin toward the end of May, and then my period came on June 6th, but I haven't had one since then...

I know I probably went a little overboard with everything I said earlier, but you know how it is when it feels like you only get one shot at getting into college...

well, that’s exactly where the issue lies
I just decided to take matters into my own hands...

Help me out here, please!

I’m feeling a bit lost and don't know what my next move should be...

I'm 19 years old, and normally my cycle is pretty regular, coming in every 30 to 34 days. However, earlier this year, I was dealing with all the stress of taking entrance exams for college, so I tried to use Yasmin to shift my cycle around a bit. My last period was on June 6th, and since then, there's just been nothing at all...

I really don't think I could be pregnant, though, because the last time I was with my boyfriend was back in late January...

Thanks so much in advance for any advice...

I honestly have no clue what could be causing this😕
It’s never really happened to me before...................🤷

Wait, how can you say it isn't much?
I was honestly so shaken up by the whole thing..........................
I read somewhere that it might be due to ovarian cysts.......................
I've never really dealt with anything like this before,
though I suppose stress could be playing a part too.............

I could really use some help here...........
Here is the situation: I have quite a large pelvic area, I am 21 years old, and my cycle usually runs pretty consistently at about 30 to 31 days, but right now my period is already eight days late. I shouldn't be pregnant because I haven't even been seeing a boyfriend for six months now 😢, so I am wondering what else this could possibly be?🤷
Please, I am feeling so desperate.................😕
I really don't want to go see a gynecologist!

I could really use some advice here:
I’ve been struggling with an obsession with the number five, and I know how ridiculous that sounds...
Everything has to happen in sets of five—I wash my hands five times, I brush my hair in five strokes, I eat my food in increments of five pieces, and it just keeps going like that, everything revolving around that specific number...
Do you think this might be happening because my parents have always pressured me to maintain a perfect 4.0 GPA at school, and somehow that pressure turned into this fixation on the number five...

I don't want to sound like a know-it-all since I'm still just a high school student myself, but I’m actually dealing with something very similar:
I just finished my sophomore year, and while my grades have stayed pretty solid at straight A's, I absolutely loathe this school because my parents were the ones who forced me into it.
My heart was set on a liberal arts high school because that’s where my passions lie, but my mom insisted on a pre-med track because she’s convinced it’s the only way to ensure a stable career, a high salary, and constant respect in the community... and honestly, what am I supposed to do about my interest in the humanities?
I despise being here with everything in me; it has pushed me toward an eating disorder, deep depression, and lately, I’ve even had thoughts of ending it all.....

In theory, you're supposed to just ignore all the nonsense and follow your dreams, BUT, there's always that huge "but"................ I just don't know
When we're discussing the UN, I have to admit that I’d really love to lose some weight too, but since I follow a vegetarian diet,
I'm just not quite sure what my best move is...
