I fail to see what exactly is supposed to be humorous about this. It seems people are simply pretending to be more knowledgeable than they actually are, especially now that I have investigated how many individuals use motor oil to lubricate fan bearings:

Regarding the AP, you were the one who originally mentioned using an AP-based spray, so clearly, I misunderstood your initial point.
I see. I have some AP on hand, though it isn't in a spray bottle... In that case, would motor oil suffice instead?
That seems clear enough. To avoid starting an entirely new thread, I was wondering what would be the most effective substance for lubricating a laptop fan? Would some sort of specialized oil or a similar lubricant suffice?
I have already stated my intention to connect this via an M.2 SATA adapter. To be perfectly clear, I do not possess an M.2 slot available on this machine. It is written quite plainly. :-)
Greetings,
I am currently in the market for a 480GB SSD to upgrade my laptop. My dilemma lies in whether I should opt for a standard SATA SSD or if I should purchase an M.2 SSD and utilize an M.2 to SATA adapter instead. Would an M.2 drive suffer any noticeable performance degradation when routed through a SATA connection, or would it be more prudent to simply stick with a conventional SATA SSD?
