Exactly! Super tall guys are a total turnoff for me. And this idea that someone is hot just because they're tall or have a certain look? Please. Real men have attitude and confidence. You don't need to be a supermodel to pull that off!
I stumbled upon this Quincy lately, and it immediately made me think of the author and this whole discussion. A great way to test an emotional connection is seeing how someone reacts when you say "No." Love respects a "No," while control just ignores it. — Henry Ford
If you’re struggling mentally, it might be because you're trying to force control over things you can't. You have to accept the situation as it is and just move on.

Why bring up the higher-ups? Just accept the "no," respect his choice, and move on, man. You aren't going to change his mind, and he isn't going to change his mind.
Stop obsessing over that age gap! Who cares? To him, those forty years probably don't mean a single thing compared to how much you two connect. You’re totally fixated on this. Of course he isn't going to change his behavior if he's perfectly happy with how things are! You're only stressing out because you want to put an official label on the relationship. Forcing it won't work. Seriously, just step back. Start building your own life and focus entirely on yourself! If you keep pushing him, you'll actually drive him away. In the end, you'll be the one begging him just to be friends.
If I had been drinking pure spirits, this is how it would have gone. I’d stop drinking on Friday and wouldn't touch another drop until the following Friday, if you catch my drift!😁
I was on the beach and didn't deal with any of those issues at all. The only thing was, I just wasn't getting enough volume, so I ended up stopping them altogether.
Hey everyone, quick question! I had my period about two weeks ago. I finished my last birth control pill about a week ago, so I'm not using that method anymore. Since then, I've had protected sex, but now I’ve noticed some bleeding. Has anyone else dealt with this after stopping the pill? I definitely plan on checking in with my gynecologist, but since it's late, I figured I'd ask here first! 😁
That sounds perfect for me! Honestly, I was thinking it might be better to switch over to Yaz—you know, the newer one with fewer hormones. To be fair, I never actually had any issues with the other one. I used it for at least three or four years, and the price is super reasonable, too. It worked great for me, and I really hope it works just as well for you! 🙂
I switched from Cilest to Yaz about three months ago. During the first month, instead of my actual period, I just had some spotting. I took a pregnancy test right away, and it was negative. Now, it’s the second month, and even after finishing another pack, my period still hasn't arrived. I've done another home test and a blood test, and both were negative too. So, I stopped taking Yaz. Honestly, it just doesn't work for my body, and I am definitely not going back to it.
I thought the setlist was awesome! I always go in with way too high expectations, but I was actually really happy with it. Was the sound system bad? Honestly, I have no clue—I was right in the pit and everything sounded fine to me. 🤷 And there weren't many people there? Good grief, you go to a show for the music, not to be in a packed crowd, right?
I’ll be there! 😁 I went to the concert at Madison Square Garden recently. It was good, but honestly, it could have been better. I’m expecting more from this one—they really need to step up the preparation. I actually swapped my tickets, though I didn't land the fan pit; instead, I ended up in the floor section. Still, I'm happy with it! 🎉
Well, they actually grab one tube of blood during every plasma donation. They run tests on it before they even touch the plasma to make sure everything is good to go. Beyond that, I really don't know much more since I've only done it once myself!
Nope, they actually do that in a different room, but only on Mondays. And they aren't checking your plasma; they're just verifying your blood type and screening you for diseases.😉
Yep, it's packed every single day. You’re stuck waiting in line, and the whole process takes about 45 to 50 minutes. You really need to show up between 8:00 and 10:00 AM just to make sure you actually get seen when your turn comes.
