Of course we all act a bit more upbeat, cheerful, and friendly than we actually are during a first impression—most of the time, anyway...

But there are certain people who absolutely wow you at first. They seem incredibly interesting and warm over the first few coffees, but then they suddenly start withdrawing and avoiding contact altogether. Why do you think they act like that?

Have you ever met someone who seems absolutely perfect at first, only to turn weird and start ghosting you out of nowhere?

Why do you think some people act like that?
