Well, there you have it, that's just how it goes 😍 Stress doesn't always have to stem from some huge, negative disaster, you know? Most likely, you're just navigating through a season of transition right now—even if those changes are actually positive 😉—and that shift alone can really crank up the tension. But honestly, don't let it get to you too much, because stress is just a temporary visitor, not a permanent resident like love might be 😉
As for the scarring, I'm honestly stumped... I usually swear by using a zinc paste and it works wonders for me when I need to clear things up, but when it comes to fading actual scars, I really don't have a clue...
Just do me a favor and type "keloids" into Google Images and hit search... but seriously, a fair warning: please don't do this on an empty stomach!!!!!
I wanted to pick the brains of anyone here who might know a bit more than I do about this: is it actually possible to get a tattoo over a surgical scar? I'm talking about those standard 😉—you know, the kind with five little stitches along a line!? 🙂
And has anyone else here already gone through with tattooing right over a scar? I'd love to hear how the final result actually turned out...
People can be just like that, you know... It feels like hardly anyone actually takes a moment to appreciate what they’ve already achieved; instead, they immediately start obsessing over what’s missing or what they lack (assuming it’s even truly lacking in the first place). Sometimes you just lose your way... The little things start feeling much heavier than the truly monumental ones. For me, health is easily the most important thing of all. But I doubt many people would stop to say, "I woke up today feeling healthy and happy, and I'm grateful for that!" Most will probably just grumble, "Ugh, my head is killing me again, why does this always happen to me..." and spend the rest of the day in a foul mood. I guess you could say they're too busy looking at the trees to see the forest 🙂 You focus so intently on what isn't there that you end up taking everything you actually possess for granted.
I went through several major surgeries myself quite a few years ago, and there are still moments where I catch myself spiraling over absolute nonsense... Then, it finally hits me that all these years following those procedures have essentially been a gift, and all I can really do is be thankful that I'm still here. Life is a gift, no matter how messy it gets, and we really are the architects of our own happiness or misery. It all comes down to your perspective 😉
Oh yeah, because I have such a visceral aversion to milk, I can't even bring myself to touch yogurt, pudding, or any kind of creamy porridge, semolina... or anything like that...
In my opinion, it feels more like it's rooted in my head than in my actual body...
Sandra King86 said:Here is a really solid article Let me know if you need any help translating from English. 🙂
Apparently, a milk protein allergy can show up as stomach cramps along with bloody stools, intense vomiting, and they also mention things like Enteropathy and Heiner's syndrome... Oh, and people with this allergy often can't handle soy products either, since there's supposedly an allergic reaction to those too. Lactose intolerance usually involves bloating, gas, and stuff like that.
Thanks for the link! 🙂
I honestly think I might have an allergy, though I'm not entirely certain... The thing is, I have no idea how my body would actually react to milk because I haven't even tried it in twenty years. Just the thought of it makes my stomach turn. And don't even get me started on anything liquid or creamy that involves dairy—like yogurt, pudding, chocolate milk, or all those different kinds of mushy baby foods... just gross!
Basically, I can't even bring myself to drink milk because as soon as I get close to it, I feel like I'm going to throw up. So, who knows, is it an intolerance or an actual allergy? It's hard to say... but honestly, at this point, it doesn't even matter much.
Hey everyone, I could really use some help here.... I've been wondering if what I'm dealing with is an actual allergy or just an intolerance, so if anyone would be kind enough to break down the typical symptoms for both, I’d be so incredibly grateful.... (And hey, if you help me out, coffee is on me—just make sure it's a coffee without milk 😉...
Sandra King86 said:I’m also not sure if anyone else has picked up on this, but lactose intoleranceisn't quite the same thing as having a dairy allergy.
So, what's actually the difference there? How can you tell which one you're dealing with...
So, what are the actual symptoms of lactose intolerance, really??? I’ve been scrolling through those previous posts and reading everything mentioned there, but nowhere did it say that one of the symptoms is feeling like your stomach is just bloating up immediately when you go to drink some milk... Does that count as one of them, or maybe...???
Kyle Nguyen16 said:I haven't actually touched dairy since I was a little kid. Honestly, I've never broken a bone in my life. My brother, on the other hand, grew up on milk—he absolutely loves it and used to drink it by the gallon—yet he was constantly breaking bones throughout his childhood, even needing surgery once or twice, so from what I can see based on my own family history, this whole theory about milk being essential for strong bones doesn't really hold much water...
Well, I mean, did his bone just decide to snap on its own somehow!? Just because he was a bit more accident-prone doesn't suddenly mean that milk isn't healthy for you... If we were both standing there in the exact same situation facing a "broken bone" scenario, then maybe comparing who breaks first would make some kind of sense, but the way this argument is going, I really don't see the logic in it at all...

That movie is absolutely fantastic, a total classic in my book, and easily one of the greatest Sci-Fi movies ever made. Absolutely! It’s not even about personal preference at this point, because the film is just a pure masterpiece through and through! I’ve lost count, but I must have watched it at least 20 times 😬 and of course, it holds a permanent spot in my private collection
a perfect 10 👍
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 I’ll just leave you with this—"God bless America!!!" and "America bless stormycyclist13!!!!" ...because without movies like this, the truly great ones would never get their moment to shine, and without an audience like us, the truly terrible ones wouldn't even get a look-in....
restlesspanther1 said:well... I mean, personally, I can't even look at a picture of a snake in a magazine without tossing it away immediately (I couldn't even hold back during my high school biology class) not even a cartoon snake 😱
and if I actually saw one in person, I think I'd just drop dead on the spot
See, that’s where we cross into irrational territory, because you're saying you're afraid of the mere image itself! I wasn't trying to deny that snake phobias exist, but there's a big difference between having a natural, instinctual reaction to seeing a snake—which makes sense since they can actually be dangerous—and what you're describing, where the fear extends to pictures and drawings... once it reaches that level, it's definitely a phobia...😉 I was really just using the whole snake thing as an example to illustrate the distinction between a basic fear and a full-blown phobia....
