I honestly feel like people get these massive surges of hope when they start on birth control, but then that excitement just kind of fizzles out once your body finally settles into its new routine with the hormones.
There's still a chance of getting pregnant if you happen to miss a pill, though. Apparently, the thing is supposed to be about 98% effective.
