Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
Sandra Green38 said:Hey everyone, I’m on the hunt for a dentist—man or woman, doesn't matter—located in Washington, D.C. My main requirement is that they take Medicare and that they actually know what they're doing. I need someone gentle (😁), just a solid professional. I’ve got a mountain of cavities that need addressing, and honestly, I’m looking for someone who can get through it without making me suffer, because my pain tolerance is pretty much non-existent.
thanks in advance! 🙂

Check out that community health clinic near the downtown mosque, specifically Dr. Anic-Biondić. Just make sure you ask for the injection upfront; in my experience, that's probably your best bet for staying comfortable.

I had to stop taking Yaz because I’ve got surgery coming up, and I was wondering about what happens if I pick them back up later—say, maybe three months after stopping. Does restarting like that mess with my risk levels or anything like that? Basically, is it better to just walk away from them entirely, or should I wait a year or so before starting again?

My sister’s sixteen and she’s dead set on hitting up a liquor store to hunt for birth control. She’s asking me if it’s a smart move, and honestly, I’m stuck. I don't even know what to tell her. 😕
I mean, is it actually smart to start hitting them that early? :S
I've got this massive fear of getting pregnant...

Look, if she has a boyfriend and they’re sleeping together—or even just thinking about it—I’d say it’s more than responsible to be on the pill. We all know they’re way more reliable than just relying on a condom. In my opinion, you should ideally never have to touch them, but back when I was 16, my dermatologist actually put me on them to help clear up my skin. If they weren't relatively safe, a doctor wouldn't be handing them out like candy. It is what it is, you gotta do what you gotta do...😁
