That’s just how I feel—it’s disgusting that he married her when she was only 14. Honestly, I don't admire her, I despise her. I’d love to tell her to actually get a job and become a real person. You can’t argue with my take.
And how would you even know which wealthy people I'm talking about??? Look, if I had a massive pile of cash and never had to work a day in my life, I’d still find something to do—or maybe I'd just have six kids and call it a day, so maybe I wouldn't work full-time. 😬
As for her? She’s just wasting everyone's time. She isn't an artist, a scientist, or even a decent singer. She's bottom of the barrel, plain and simple. 👎

"On" has nerves of steel... anyone else would've lost their mind ages ago... 😬

What do you mean New York City? 😕 🤔

😬 Look, I already admitted I screwed up... no clue why I thought it took place in New York City—probably something about Breakfast at Tiffany's, since I always pictured it there... who knows... 🤣

please, stop talking nonsense

Jesus, did you even watch the movie?? That guy who came over to tell her her brother was coming home from the military—she ended up marrying him when she was only 14.

Yeah, I would. Most wealthy people still work—where do you even live?? 🤣

I honestly think this movie is incredible—it’s just so effortlessly chic 😁 Everyone is sophisticated, yet slightly unhinged. And the acting? Unbelievable. Why doesn't anyone act like this anymore? They have actual, normal faces... you know, they're attractive, but without the overfilled lips or obvious surgery, and they aren't trying too hard with some pseudo-deep acting that has nothing to do with the plot. I love how the characters are actually fleshed out. They don't fall into those tired tropes you see in modern American movies—you know, the "perfect, witty cop" or the "stunningly beautiful, fragile woman." Instead, they're full of flaws and weaknesses. The lead guy is basically a writer living off an older woman who pays his way (honestly, I bet even someone like a jerk 😉 would want that), and she's one of those "high society" types whom men pay for her company and sex, hoping to marry someone wealthy (doesn't even have to be hot). She divides men into "bad" and "really bad," and there's this idiot with four kids who married her when she was 14—probably forced her—and she even has a cat named Cat.
The thing is, in real life, they're the kind of people I'd despise. I'd tell him: "Get a job," and I'd tell her: "Get a job." But the movie presents them differently—I don't hate them, they just have these specific personalities... she's running from responsibility and chasing wealth, though she doesn't really know what she wants... and he just doesn't care, drifting through life as a writer... like he has no purpose. Then, when they meet, somehow everything just clicks... he sells his story, and she ultimately decides to stay with him (though I suspect she would've married that guy from Argentina if she hadn't been arrested).
In reality, I feel sorry for people like that, but in the film, I admire them because the actors played them so well—they gave them this sense of elegance, this certain glow... and then there's New York City... their walks, the beauty of Audrey Hepburn... it's just a beautiful film.

Look, I was asking if anyone had actually stepped foot in Gandalf—I can obviously find their website myself using Google. As for links, I'm not interested in useless stuff you can just search for; I want sites showcasing actual interesting art (but not on people—because if it's already on someone else, there’s zero chance I won't end up with the exact same tattoo).

I’ve been thinking about getting a tattoo for years now—it's not just some passing whim. I'm not really a jewelry person, so I'd rather decorate my skin instead. I'm looking for some real insight from people who've actually done it: how are your tattoos holding up after five or more years? What was the experience like at the shops you visited, what kind of prices are we talking about (mine would be roughly 9x9, solid black), and does anyone have good links to tattoo galleries?
I have zero interest in amateur hacks... I'm the type of person who doesn't even drive without a seatbelt 🙂.
Has anyone ever been to Gandalf over on Tratinski Street?
