Everything you need for a Midwest wedding in Weddings ·
Austin Hayes2 said:I’m going with Glasser! I’ve been to several weddings there and honestly, I love it every single time—they really know how to decorate the place. You definitely want to aim for a Saturday; everything looks so polished and perfect then. Regarding the restrooms, my non-negotiables are cleanliness, having enough stalls, and making sure they stay stocked with toilet paper, soap, towels, and a mirror 🙂... and all that other stuff. As for the kitchen, I’ve checked it out and it’s totally fine. Sure, it’s small, but who cares? You aren’t the one doing the cooking anyway—that's what the catering staff is for. The food there is fantastic, and I don't recall a single person complaining about it, which is the most important thing. Plus, the bands actually love playing there because the acoustics are great. That matters too.
Look, at the end of the day, it’s about the budget. I’ve looked everywhere, and Glasser is easily my most affordable option, and for me, that’s what counts. If you have a massive budget for fancy venues, go for it. In that case, you can pick absolutely anything you want!!

So when is your big day? What kind of deal did you guys manage to pull together? Send me a DM with some details if you don't mind, just so I can get an idea of what you negotiated...

Paul Taylor4 said:Look, I’m a total sucker for a good deal—price is a huge dealbreaker for me—but hey, everyone’s got their own vibe. For me, that venue just didn't hit the mark at all. Nothing about it really clicked. Plus, I’ve heard some pretty sketchy stuff from other people about their service being a total mess too.

So, what did you end up choosing as your top pick based on everything you wanted?

So, does anyone have any fresh takes on the Glasser Hall? I’m dying to hear some actual experiences... I've been scrolling through everything you guys have posted, and it feels like that venue almost never comes up, so I figured I'd just ask. Any impressions?
What's playing at AMC Theatres? in Movies ·
Every single town seems to have some theater called Europe... you really need to be more specific about which city you're talking about...

Absolute garbage. Seriously, just a total mess from start to finish. It’s basically just one long string of wasted potential for Edward Norton—it's honestly painful watching him sink like this. He really should have just passed on the whole thing.

Deva rocks!!!! I absolutely love them 🙂 but man, they are such a pain to track down 👎

Fallen Leaves 🥳 oh yeah

I noticed they're tagged as punk, punk rock, and obviously emo on Last.fm, but honestly, people on there slap the "emo" label on basically any band these days... I'm just not an emo guy.😳 👎

Wait, hold on... what genre would you even put them in? I can't quite wrap my head around it.

I heard this one track because it’s part of the Need for Speed soundtrack, but I honestly love just cruising through the game while it plays. It’s called Red flag... they're alright, nothing crazy, but I have one question... the vocals sound all distorted and screamy... is that just how it is with every song? Because if that's the vibe for everything else, then thanks, but no thanks—even if the beat is absolutely infectious
Is a major brand's sparkling water toxic?! in Health ·
I honestly think Donat mg has the strongest scent out of all the mineral waters... you know, it’s basically my go-to when I need to kickstart digestion or deal with those damn gummy vitamins. 🤔 But man, that smell... I swear it’s been there as long as I can remember. I just can't wrap my head around him being the one behind it. Honestly, he's always been sniffing around the same stuff anyway. 😛

Seriously, someone please just tell me which brand we should avoid drinking—or better yet, stop buying altogether... I heard from one source that they’re basically just filling bottles with regular tap water, maybe slightly filtered, and passing it off as premium. There isn't even a trace of actual spring water in there, despite what the label says 😕
