Dealing with bad cramps? in Women's Health ·
stormymaker24 said:I am officially joining the club.
I find myself in a perpetual state of low-grade discomfort, just enough to keep my nerves frayed, which inevitably leads to a sharper outburst before I reach for some Ketoral; now, I am simply riding a wave of hormonal agitation.
There is absolutely no way to find any peace here.

By the way, ladies—Ketoral and Advil are essentially the exact same thing, just different brands of ketoprofen, where the only real distinction is that Ketoral is a few cents cheaper. Plus, the Ketoral bottle is smaller, making it much more practical for a purse 😁 since I’m starting to sound like a total addict...

Ketonal is honestly the only thing that actually works for me. I spent years struggling, and I didn't even discover it until I actually passed out from the pain once. I ended up in the ER and they had to give me a cocktail injection just to stabilize me. Out of the million different pieces of advice I’ve been thrown at—and believe me, I’ve tried them all (the most helpful one was actually from the ER doctor, who told me to take a prenatal vitamin for two months to get more folic acid)—only THE Ketonal does the trick. Whoever invented this stuff deserves a medal.👍
I used to take the Ketonal Forte, but lately, I've noticed the pain isn't nearly as intense, so I just take half a dose and that's plenty😍.

Look, I’ve got a few people staring at me while I’m in here with my OB-GYN—absolutely not. 2up: Either they leave, or I am.
As for other "non-sensitive" departments, maybe it's doable, but only if the doctor actually warns you or asks first. Of course, I'm not talking about seeing a dermatologist when you're dealing with an STD🙂 or similar issues.

Motion sickness while driving in Health ·
The real issue here is your equilibrium. Either you need to take the wheel yourself, or if you’re just riding along, try focusing on the road ahead as if you were actually driving. It honestly doesn't matter whether you've eaten or not—though, for what it's worth, having an empty stomach combined with a cup of coffee can definitely make the nausea hit even harder. If the sickness vanishes the second the car pulls over, there is a very high probability that your sense of balance is being thrown off for some reason.
Look, don't let yourself get worked up—you’re overthinking this way too much. You aren't going to remember every single detail, so there's no point in obsessing over how scary it might be. I was absolutely terrified before my procedure, but honestly, it turned out fine. Personally, I didn't deal with any dizziness or that weird nauseous feeling when trying to fall asleep. They just pop an IV in you, and the next thing you know, you're waking up... which wasn't actually bad either, aside from the soreness where they operated. Some people, a small minority, might deal with nausea after the anesthesia wears off. Oh, and there wasn't really a nurse hovering over me waiting for me to wake up. Or maybe I just don't remember it that way...🤷
