No way. He spends his breaks doing music theory classes. 🙂

And listen, Steven Hernandez9, you really think posting that cute face of yours is actually gonna pull more people to the show? 😁

So you finally figured out that everyone already knows exactly who he is and what he's about?

Here we go again. Just when I thought I was done dealing with this caffeine overdose, he pops back up. The guy just can't help himself; he always has to have the last word.

😠I had to. I really had to.😠
..man, I wasn't even really there. I was just wasted, totally out of it, terrified... I felt like I was lost in the middle of nowhere, just spiraling and wanting to shave my head off...

Honestly, I think I like them even more now, especially... The Hold Steady 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏

Man, that’s what I call pure luck. That’s what you call actual good news... my blood pressure literally dropped from the excitement.

Eye in the Mist Documentary screening tonight: a film by Nin and Jadranka Pongrac looking back at the American underground scene from the late '80s and early '90s. It’s got some rare footage of Majka and Satan, plus interviews with people who were actually there during the first Bombing of New York. Runs about 30 minutes.

I guess I'll just leave this here.Goribor/ poetry: "The world is mine, but there's plenty of time"

THE BUTTERFLY CULTURAL CLUB AND CNN ARE PRESENTING:
Ha! Monday from 9 PM – 2 AM @ BUTTERFLY, the Levee

March 19th.
Ha—a night of Rock

ROCK (as defined by Velimir Grgić) — a specific niche within the rock scene, characterized by soft bands. Basically, performers who, through their songs and stage presence or media coverage,
consciously or unconsciously present themselves as rockers who look like they might fall apart if you breathed on them too hard, yet despite all that softness, they still refuse to let go of the electric guitar.

Your guides through the whining and moaning live on stage:
ALJOŠA ŠERIĆ (Ramirez)
www.myramirez.com
www.myspace.com/jasampavel

LEA DEKLEVA (Lea Dekleva)

ANTE PERKOVIĆ (Djeca, Ante Perković)
www.myspace.com/anteperkovic

The side program includes:
• a massive selection of whiny, tear-jerker music from both foreign and local artists
• plenty of bar talk ranging from Bergman levels ('six seals, the seventh holds the string') to 'let's go to my place, listen to records and cry together'
• a parade of emo-intellectuals and indie gazelles
• awards for "Year of the Loser" and "Year of the Cool Kid" (optional)
• a contest for the best glasses (optional)
• the "Platinum" award for special contributions to the development of soft rock
• a wellness program called 'fill it up, drain it out' involving glasses and bottles

Entry – just a few bucks

The Svirka (for real though!!!) starts at 9:30 PM (come on, be there by 9:45 at the latest)...

And after that:

The Queen in Movies ·
Great movie.

Helen Mirren totally deserved that Oscar.
rustyscout31 said:The movie is absolutely fantastic, and Helen Mirren is just incredible! She truly deserves an Oscar for this performance. I was actually a little worried that the scenes involving Princess Diana might lean too hard into being overly sentimental or feel like a cheap tribute to Lady Diana, but the director handled the whole situation regarding her passing and the funeral so beautifully.

I am just left wondering why they chose to portray the handsome Prince Charles III as such a decent guy. And one more thing... I had no idea the British Prime Minister held that much sway over the Queen...

That specific scene with the deer... hmm... was the Queen feeling a sense of guilt over Princess Diana, or were they trying to suggest she cares more about a wounded animal than she did about the late Princess Diana??

I don't know, I actually thought they portrayed him as a bit of a screw-up.
The weight of "No" and the guilt that follows in Psychology ·
Look, I say yes when I actually mean it and no when I don't. It’s not even a big deal for me, but I can't stand it when someone tells me yes just because they're too chicken to actually say no. Like, give me a break... honestly, I also hate it when I tell someone no and then they just go dead silent—like if we're on the phone—and use that awkward silence to guilt-trip me into changing my mind. Then I end up saying yes just because the guilt is driving me crazy.
