Lisa Barrett22 said:By the way, the mother of an old friend of mine had about ten abortions. Even after all that, she was still able to get pregnant without any issues...👎

Back when I was doing my internship, a woman came in for an abortion—she used to sell souvenirs at a local market—and that was her 27th termination!
On top of that, she had perfect teeth with zero cavities, though I’m fairly certain she didn't brush regularly or see a dentist much.

These are extreme cases and shouldn't be treated as role models. 😈
However, abortion as a way out of desperate circumstances, like the one the main subject of this thread is facing, absolutely must remain an option....
Abortion is NOT, and MUST NOT BE, a method of contraception! 🙂

So, there she goes again, mocking shadows: claiming we’re all just moderate narcissists.
😂 😂 😂

I just checked, and it works now

My bad—I typed a "w" instead of a "v" in the previous link...
swiftnomad84 said:Thanks for the quick reply. To be honest, I was told Yasmin pills are great, but unfortunately they seem way too expensive, $28 if I remember correctly. Since I don't have my own income right now, it's just too much money—plus, I'm allergic to condoms. 😢

I'm not entirely sure about the math here: $28 the monthly cost for Yasmin versus a three-pack of condoms is roughly $6.75...
The miscarriage happened around $500...

If you want to ensure safe sex, sometimes it might be better to cut back on coffee, cigarettes, or alcohol... but ultimately, that's your call. 😁

I formed my opinion based on several posts. Besides, diagnosing someone over the internet doesn't seem particularly professional to me.

And honestly, wouldn't you consult your own colleagues before letting me build your house?😕

I'm out; this level of conversation isn't for me.👋

Thanks for pointing out the broken link; I'll need to check that...
By the way, that's just a fun quiz, not an attempt at online diagnosis.

As for building a house... I don't think that's ever happening. I definitely don't have the budget for a house right now.😁

👋
From what I understand, acrylate fillings aren't covered by Medicare (I'm not 100% sure, so definitely double-check with your dentist), but all contraceptive pills require out-of-pocket payment, except for Diane 35 if it's specifically prescribed for acne or PCOS.
Diane 35 is actually being prescribed less frequently as a contraceptive lately because the estrogen concentration is quite high. Better alternatives would be Logest or Yasmin (though you'll have to pay the full price for both).

😢

Come on, do you seriously believe you can make a valid assessment of my personality or social skills based on a few forum posts?

Or were you reading tea leaves or something? 😈

"If we're all like this"...that sounds like a lot of prejudice and overgeneralization to me. Seriously, stop guessing and just take a test instead:

That extra card—which clearly states it right on there—means that according to that specific regulation, you are EXEMPT FROM CO-PAYS.
Basically, you don't pay any copayments for services or medications covered on the Medicare formulary. However, you'll still have to pay the full price for anything NOT on the list, like Advil, Aspirin, cough syrup, and so on, just like everyone else.

nimblewalker58 said:Are you actually a doctor, like, with a degree? 😕

Do you honestly think being a doctor means having to be a pushover and tolerate idiots?
And please, let's skip the whole Hippocrates thing and those tired clichés. I just finished dinner and I'd rather not deal with any indigestion. 🙂

Yes, I have a legitimate degree. My dad didn't buy it for me.
If that bothers you, I'm sorry, but it's not like you'll be my patient anyway... I'm not a psychiatrist. 😈

tukan, respect has to be earned, and based on how you're acting, you haven't 😈

Your insults don't affect me: it’s not about what is said, but WHO 🙂

And you don't carry any weight with me 🙂
Emergency: My friend is pregnant in Health ·
Peter Myers29, or maybe I should just say Tukan—you aren't going to tell me to shut up. NEVER. 😈
Try saying that to your future wife, if you ever actually find one...

A woman is ready to embrace motherhood and possesses the emotional maturity for it when she decides, alongside a partner she loves and trusts, to bring a child into the world as a product of love rather than an accident or a random hookup. She’s ready when she can provide that child with affection, a stable home, and financial security...

Anything else is irrelevant!
And at 25 years old, are you actually prepared to be the kind of father who provides a home, food, diapers, and an education for his child and their mother? Or are you just talking big without any actual foundation? 🙂
I have a feeling the latter is more your speed. 😈

What bothers me most 🙂 is how pro-choice advocates justify women choosing abortion just for money or career advancement.
Marie Curie at 18 isn't even an adult in an emotional or mature sense... she’s just a Child who had the misfortune of getting pregnant (and I won't get into whether a condom broke or if she wasn't using one at all).
She has her whole life ahead of her, and now everything has to grind to a halt because of one impulsive moment.
According to the pro-choice worldview, her studies are over and her youth is gone... when she might have been the next Marie Curie, Milka Trnin, or some other scientist, artist, or perhaps even a future Nobel Prize Winner.
We've had enough of immature, clueless guys treating us women as nothing more than breeding machines 😈

Seriously, go back under your rock, you pathetic Brash loser, and take your miserable little ego with you... maybe you can find some lonely woman to settle down with by age 30 so you can stop subsidizing this forum and its HEALTH subforum!
And, oh yeah... reach out to Mac Hummer, let him sell you—sorry, let him swap—some potency pills that also help with your attitude... he's got all sorts of miracles 🙂
Emergency: My friend is pregnant in Health ·
Hey, it looks like Mac Hummer finally met his match—though this one isn't some supplement salesman, it's more like a rapid proliferation 😈

And we all know how aggressive they can get when they start swarming... 🙂

Regarding the girl facing this issue, if I were in her shoes, I wouldn't wait ten weeks based solely on her own math... there is a specific gestational age calculated by both her estimate and what a gynecologist measures via ultrasound, and those two numbers don't always align perfectly.
So, my advice is to get moving and see a gynecologist immediately.
As for abortion facilities, every single one of our public hospitals with a gynecology department is legally required to provide abortion services to a woman, as it remains her right—despite the ongoing interference from religious extremists. Furthermore, the hospital is obligated to ensure coverage by providing replacement doctors for any physicians who refuse to perform them due to conscientious objection.
Personally, I know plenty of gynecologists, and not a single one of them refuses to perform abortions.
However, I do know one idiot working in an ER in a small town who refuses to provide emergency contraception to women whose condoms fail. 🙂

The decision of whether or not to keep a child is hers, and hers alone!
Of course, if a woman is in a functioning partnership, her decision-making might involve her partner, but I will say it again: it is ONLY and EXCLUSIVELY HER DECISION!!!!!

Best, 🙂
Listen, before everyone completely loses their grip on reality—which, let's be honest, seems to be happening already—you need to focus on a few specific things. Grab your Guyton textbook and study this:

- Acid-base regulation and the body's water and electrolyte balance
- How adrenocorticotropic hormones affect water and electrolyte metabolism
- Cushing's and Addison's syndromes
- Diabetes insipidus

Once you've done that, you can just sit back and drift away...
😎

Water is vital for survival. The human body is made up of more than 70% water, and our basic daily requirement typically falls between 1500 and 2000 ml...
When ambient temperatures rise, the body loses more fluid through increased perspiration (insensible water loss via the respiratory system) and sweating. In these cases, conservation mechanisms kick in, which means decreasing glomerular filtration and increasing water reabsorption in the tubules, resulting in the excretion of concentrated urine...

This isn't exactly groundbreaking stuff; these principles have been understood for thousands of years. We aren't reinventing the wheel here. 😂
In fact, it was all figured out a long time ago. 🙂
Mac Hummer, I was almost shocked when I read your first post: you finally wrote something sensible! 👏

Of course, he went right back to that usual condescending, know-it-all tone of his immediately after. 😈

Honestly, Mac... you build such a solid foundation, only to ruin it all by piling on unnecessary bricks, plaster, mortar, and rebar.

Have you ever thought about trying something else?
Maybe astrology? 🙂
Arthur Barnes said:Go to hell, you know it.

Arthur Barnes, I'll be there in about three to three and a half hours... won't be able to make it any sooner than that. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
Come on, Eugene, just go for it... fry up some bacon, sprinkle it with seasoning, then toss in some mayo and cream...

What a load of crap... let us know how your gut feels once it completely twists itself inside out. 🙂 🙂 😘
Arthur Barnes said:Man, I can't take this anymore. Just rusk, water, and tea. Is this allowed? Pâté? Soft-boiled eggs? Strawberries? Please, just give me anything with actual flavor. 😁

Wow, you're being really intense about this. Usually, the diet (meaning basically just dry toast, saltines, broth, and tea) is meant to last UNTIL THE DIARRHEA STOPS, followed by a few days of boiled poultry, cooked fruit, and veggies...

The girls have a point, though... honestly, they deserve Machummer and his HL shakes—or maybe we should call them "cellular" shakes... 😂 😂 😂
