Help, I’m on a deadline looking for a cute little dress in size 98 for a graduation party. Not looking for anything summer-only—needs to work for fall or winter too 😉 DM me your suggestions, thanks 😉!
It’s been nearly a month since anyone’s typed anything here.😲 Anyone got advice on where to find a good selection of tracksuits in plus sizes?🙂 I noticed C&A has some cute, affordable options, but they only go up to XL.🤷
Found out the other day that they're back to huge numbers at the arena. Glad about it. Closer than Westgate. Plus their stuff is actually good.🙂 They have these great blouses, even if they are all in $60 blue, red, or that dull pink.
Joshua Moore19 said:Hey everyone—I just launched a new group on Facebook called Shell Corner, and I’d love for us to hang out over there too. I’m envisioning it as a space for all those little joys, life experiences, and recipes—basically, a spot where we aren't just stuck talking about fashion. It would be great to see you all there... :-)
Honey, drop the link for that FB group because I can't find it anywhere. 🤷
Anyway, I picked up a blue maxi skirt at H&M for $28 🙂 We'll see how it goes. I love being able to just sink my hands into those big skirts while the kids run wild in the park. 😍
I’m totally fine with it, even though I have a pretty big belly. It's not like I can hide it under a skirt—there isn't any clothing like that out there, right 🤣—but I wear a shirt over it. It's never baggy, just long enough, and everything works out just fine..
And like you said, wearing the shirt tucked in? Good grief, absolutely not. That would be an absolute disaster!
Mila, please, just post a picture so we can see how it's supposed to look 🙂🙂🙂
Lisa Myers said:Ladies, I highly recommend this skirt from H&M. It’s priced at $33 and comes in this color shown in the photo plus black.
It looks bulky in the picture, but once you put it on, the drape is beautiful. It doesn't flare out at all. Honestly, I'd even go as far as saying it makes you look slimmer.
This one isn't bad either:
They also have it in black with a slit on the side. Just a heads up though—you can only pull that off if you don't have much of a tummy, otherwise it won't sit right. Same price as the ones above.
Went to H&M today to check out that skirt... honestly, I don't think it's exactly designed for this post-pregnancy belly of mine.🤷 Especially if I tuck the shirt in. If I wear the shirt over it, I just look like some old lady.😢 The black one is nice, though. Actually, I kind of like the blue one too, and they have those grey ones.😍 It would be a steal$28 with the discount. Maybe you fashion experts here could show me what a visual looks like? How do I wear this so I actually look young and decent?😕
Can't find any decent photos online 😢.. mine are just beach collections—basic cotton sleeveless ones, knee-length, perfect for the coast or just lounging at home. Great colors, too. 🙂
Honestly, I’m over that top and dome combo. For the same price, you could grab two cotton dresses at Macy's instead 🙂.. I just didn't catch which ones were actually on sale?!
Lisa Myers said:No, that’s totally fine... (btw, are we talking about C&A? 🤣)... I just bought myself a knee-length denim skirt for $50 and I honestly don't know if I'll have the guts to actually wear it :nikodmenesemanjaksamopouzdanjanevidiuopće:.
No way 🙂... we're talking about a flea market. A "boutique" at a flea market 🤣
Ladies, I need an expert opinion here.🙂 I spotted this gorgeous indigo blue summer dress—cotton linen blend, knee-length, priced at $50... is that overkill? 🙂Also, what’s the verdict on wearing dresses when you’re rocking thicker legs and overalls all the time?
Two pairs of shoes are killing my feet. These Crocs flats are squeezing me from every angle. I have no idea how to stretch them out. It’s that weird plastic material they use. The other pair are wedges, but they’re way too big for me 🙂... would those silicone heel pads from Walgreens actually help with high heels?
Justin Davis2 said:Can you post a picture of those pants? I’ve been hunting for good black cotton pants forever, but honestly, stuff at M&S always feels kind of small to me, I don't know... I’d probably need a US size 18 or whatever their 22 is. One time I was looking at blouses and it said size 24, but there was no way that was actually a 24... I’m not from around here, though—which mall has the M&S? I’ve only ever been to the one in the Westgate area.
My go-to pants are actually just M&S joggers $57. They come in black, navy, and gray, but they look like actual pants 🙂. As for sizing, I wear the same as you, but an 18 works for me there—though you really have to try them on. You can find M&S at the mall, Avenue Mall, or maybe the one near downtown. Their cuts are generally roomy, especially the bootcut ones, and I think they go up to a 24.🙂 Yeah, regarding Monsoon, they only do L and XL, but those feel huge to me too. There was a dress I liked that looked massive in XL, but I didn't try it on so who knows. Still, I'm not exactly dropping cash 🙂 on stuff like that.
