Just a bit of advice for the future: stay on top of those overdrafts, credit card balances, and all the other little pitfalls. It’s really the only way to play it—just staying sharp and avoiding those avoidable headaches.
I've already been thinking about it, I'm probably not going to look any further. I'll just stay right where I am, staying in the black...👍

I actually gave my main bank a call—the one where my paycheck goes, JPMorgan Chase—and the lady on the phone told me it would be three years without any negative balances...😠
that feels like a bit much for me, so I really need to figure out which bank has a shorter waiting period so I can just switch over to them...

man, damn... I just barely managed to close out my deficit recently😉
I have a quick question if anyone here has dealt with something similar... basically, by pure accident, I ended up overdrawn about two years ago... it was around $2,500... just being young and reckless, I guess... anyway, I won't ramble too much
I paid it all back promptly and now I'm wondering: since my record is clean now, is there any chance that if I open a checking account at a different bank to receive my paycheck, they might approve a standard overdraft limit... maybe even just $333 enough to cover things if something unexpected happens...
Because I've heard some stories that they can be really strict about this kind of stuff
Thanks
I think I'm going to try an espresso without any sugar... just to see what happens... I wouldn't say I'm a total caffeine addict or anything, but that one cup in the morning is pretty much the only thing that actually pulls me out of sleep...
Hey there...
I was wondering if anyone else deals with similar symptoms after their first cup of coffee in the morning... specifically having to run to the restroom within about 15 minutes?
I usually take mine with milk and a little sugar, and honestly, I don't mind the trip to the bathroom itself, but since I work at a local CVS, it can get a little awkward when it happens unexpectedly...
Does anyone know if I should change anything about how I make my coffee, or maybe cut out a certain ingredient so it doesn't hit me quite so fast?😁
Can I ask something?
Which bank would you guys recommend for direct deposit if I need a few specific things: they let you go into overdraft regardless of whether you have a permanent job contract or not, and you can actually buy certain things in installments using just a standard debit card?
The reason I’m asking is because I swore an oath to myself that I wouldn’t touch a Visa Classic or any other credit card ever again... I spent years paying off debt from mistakes I made way back when... but I'm finally in the clear now, so I'm looking for a bank that offers this kind of flexibility without the full-blown credit card hassle.
Thanks👍
