Jamie Gonzalez said:essentially, it’s just a tiny, sterile sponge...

That sounds exactly like those contraceptive sponges you see mentioned in health articles. Thanks for the heads-up! 😁

Jamie Gonzalez said:By the way—for those who might actually be interested in intimacy during a period, but hesitate because the whole thing just feels like too much of a mess... there are actually specific tampons designed exactly for that purpose. They’re incredibly clean to use, and honestly, the sensation is pretty much the same as anything else...👍

I have to admit, this is the first time I've ever encountered something like this—it sounds genuinely intriguing... I find myself wondering about the practical side of things, though. How exactly does one go about using it? And more importantly, where can you actually get your hands on it in the States?... 😁

According to the instructions on my birth control packaging (Yasmin), if you're looking to shift your cycle, it’s actually better to stop taking the pills early rather than extending the active phase.
I decided to try that myself by ending my cycle a week ahead of schedule—basically just starting my seven-day break early—and my period arrived naturally just a few days later. On the other hand, I once tried extending the pill cycle instead, and all I got was some weird spotting... so, in my own experience, that first approach seems much more reliable...

He just finished up at the doctor's office and everything seems to be perfectly fine—his physician was incredibly thorough during the exam, so I truly believe there's nothing to worry about. He mentioned that his weight typically fluctuates by maybe ten or twelve pounds over the course of a month... perhaps I'm just overthinking things and letting my anxiety get the better of me. Who knows, really...😕

So, does he actually stick to the permitted eating windows—you know, staying up for those pre-dawn meals...😕

Both of his parents live with diabetes, yet he stays in perfect health—he eats clean and avoids any heavy physical labor... and yes, he follows the meal schedule exactly when he's supposed to.😢

Harold Stewart3 said:Regarding what 😕 was mentioned in the post 😕—I personally haven't met anyone who loses weight through fasting only to end up physically or mentally depleted... In fact, it’s usually quite the opposite; people tend to emerge feeling much more spiritually resilient and mentally sharp...

True, they might feel stronger mentally, but physically? They can end up quite weakened by fasting during Ramadan. This individual has such a high metabolism that he dropped 17 pounds in just one week! I can only imagine how much more he'll lose after that...

Yes, this is such a vital topic... 😢 honestly, that’s the one reason I would ever even bring up the concept of transformation! You can talk about discipline and all that nonsense until you're blue in the face, but if you're physically and medically wrecked within a single week, what was it all for? It seems like he goes through this cycle every single time—losing weight after weight, just draining himself—only to spend months afterward trying to recover...

That one is more formal, more business-casual, and they carry larger sizes. You might have some luck at Nordstrom, since they tend to stock bigger sizes as well. If I think of any other spots, I'll drop them here.

I was at Style Exclusive the other day with a friend, and I ended up picking up this gorgeous tunic and a linen one for about $17—which honestly looks just as lovely. They really do carry beautiful pieces (aside from that old-fashioned stuff 😬) without being overpriced... the tunic feels a bit more dressed up, though, $67 👍
Olivia Sanchez16 said:Thanks, I think I’ve managed to find most of what I need. Only one thing though... I'm clearly an outlier here. I haven't had my period in exactly seven months, and I'm reading that certain hormone tests have to be done during your cycle. Does that mean I can't even get the bloodwork done until it finally shows up?

In my experience, I went through a similar stretch where I hadn't had a period for about six months—and when they finally did come, they lasted for ten days, then thirteen, then fifteen... it was quite a mess. Eventually, my mom reached her breaking point and insisted we see a doctor. We ended up going to Mayo Clinic for the blood tests, but honestly, regarding the specific timing you need for the labs, you should just ask whichever specialist or nurse sends you for the draw... they'll know the exact window you need to hit...

Megan Peterson87 said:just stick to something light—or at least something easy on the stomach.

For me, personally, that was easily the worst experience I've ever had with medication. I took them for maybe two or three weeks just to get my cycle to start, and they absolutely wrecked me. 😢 I felt incredibly bloated—honestly, like a balloon ready to pop—it completely killed my appetite, and I even dealt with some awful facial hair growth😠... so I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.👎

though, of course, everyone reacts differently to things like this...
