I’ve been using Merz along with some Dikla, and I have to say, they actually helped. Things aren't exactly perfect yet, but there's been a significant improvement considering my nails used to peel constantly and my cuticles were always cracking. Not to mention, I could never grow them out at all. Thankfully, they're a little longer now 🙂
So, I picked up this lovely shirt-tunic from Department Store, and honestly, I think I might have gone one size too big 😢... but whatever, it’s just for one specific occasion anyway... I’ll probably just stay in the background, haha! I really should have grabbed a size 12, but maybe I can try to take it in a little bit? I mean, I’m not quite as thick as I thought I was, I guess. 🙂
And then I found these pants, and I am actually pretty thrilled... they lift my butt and sort of slim down my legs because they have a tiny bit of stretch in them... yeah, I'm actually really happy with them. 😉
I happened to pop into Dorothy Perkins yesterday... and I have to say, they actually have some larger sizes in stock (thank God). I didn't end up picking anything up, but there were definitely a few pieces that might work. As for the prices... well, it’s a mixed bag, some things are pricier than others and some are cheaper... so I guess we'll just have to see how it goes.
You can find larger sizes at X-nation too, though their stuff tends to be a bit more expensive. Honestly, though, I don't really find it worth my while to buy the cheap stuff anyway, since it usually loses its shape or fades out way too quickly.
Honestly, I’ve just been feeling like a total elephant for the last few years...🙂>
So, does Haddad carry larger sizes now too??
And Mango... I don't know... I'm not exactly thrilled with the quality. I've picked up a few things there, but I can't really say I'm overjoyed; either the color fades way too fast, or the fabric just loses its shape... or maybe I just haven't had much luck.🙂>
Ladies, please help me if you can... so, I’m heading to a wedding at the end of May, which means I need to dress up a bit. It’s always such a struggle since I wear a size 12, and honestly, I really want something vibrant—I don't want to look like some 60-year-old grandmother. Where could I actually find something decent like that in a city like Miami?? I'm already starting to panic about the shopping part, too. I swear, those sales clerks drive me absolutely insane; they just immediately take your measurements and give you this judgmental look because I'm plus-sized, and I have no idea what I'm even looking for here...🙂
Oh, also... does anyone here have any experience with Image Haddad??
Listen, folks... don't mess around when it comes to hemorrhoids. I dealt with internal ones for years—they were bleeding constantly, or at least most of the time. I was too stubborn to see a specialist. I tried everything: different ointments, herbal teas, changing my diet... but nothing worked. Nothing. I just spent years suffering, hoping things would eventually turn around on their own. My primary care physician wouldn't even bother referring me for further testing; he just kept telling me to watch what I eat. And honestly, if my doctor won't take it seriously, why should I? Am I an idiot?🙂That all changed this summer when I ended up in the hospital—not for anything else, but specifically because of anemia caused by that ongoing bleeding. It was brutal. For two or three years, I’d been feeling exhausted, completely drained, dizzy all the time, heart racing... you name it. It turns out it all boiled down to anemia. I suppose I'm lucky it wasn't something even worse, right? But now, I've been undergoing treatment for months, and who knows how much longer I'll have to choke down pills every single day until my blood work stabilizes. To give you an idea, my iron levels plummeted from a healthy 20+ down to a pathetic 2. No wonder I felt like a zombie...
So, seriously people, don't play games with your health. Just go to the doctor...
