Can you get Shockwave from a kiss? in Health ·
Steven Jackson13 said:Now, just consider—what percentage of people actually possess perfectly healthy teeth? I honestly don't know, but it strikes me as quite jarring—when I was being taught about protection and preventing STIs back in the day, there was absolutely no mention of the CDC or the risks associated with kissing... which leaves me wondering—is this what the medical experts are actually claiming now?

That’s what the pros are claiming, anyway... I can't for the life of me remember the name of the doctor who gave the lecture, but that's what the official word was.

Cut out all that hearsay and gossip. If you want the truth, stop listening to rumors and start trusting the actual experts who live and breathe this stuff.
If you only knew the sheer amount of nonsense I’ve had to listen to lately...😳

So, I was sitting through one of those public health presentations hosted by the CDC the other day—you know, those sessions where they try to break down all the complicated stuff—and they brought up an interesting point about transmission. Basically, they mentioned that you could actually pick up HIV through kissing if both people have some issues with their teeth... like, say, if you've got gum disease or a cavity that starts bleeding right in the middle of making out. It’s one of those things you don't really think about when you're caught up in the moment, but apparently, if there's enough blood involved from a wounded tooth or something similar, that's how the risk gets introduced. Just one of those little details they throw at you during the seminars!☕
So, I finally got my date for the septoplasty surgery—it’s happening at the start of next month... general anesthesia and all that jazz... wish me luck!🙂

Think about an ENT doctor... imagine you're playing soccer, and you take a hit to the head or neck that's so sudden you don't even realize it happened at the time...

Have you thought about seeing an ENT? Seriously, if you're having trouble breathing, you really should get checked out. I play soccer too, and I was dealing with almost the exact same symptoms you are—I even went in for an abdominal ultrasound thinking it might be something there, and everything came back perfectly fine. But when I finally saw the ENT specialist, that's when things got real... turns out I actually need surgery for a deviated septum.
