Seriously, everyone needs to go download Mutiny right now!! They are an absolutely incredible band; I’ve become completely addicted to listening to the very best examples of this kind of music 🙏 🙏
I’m just using standard QuickTime at the moment. It’s what I’m playing through right now, but honestly, the software is beyond irritating.
The biggest headache is that I can’t have more than one track running at a time; since my entire work environment revolves around music, isn't it just ridiculous that I have to manually click through every single song?
And look, I’ve been sticking with Winamp for about three years now, so I’m really not looking to jump ship to some other player. It’s fast, it’s reliable... and unlike most of the other junk out there, it actually works without constant glitches.
So, I’ve found myself sitting on a massive mountain of music in M4A format—basically everything I've pulled from Apple Music. And when I say massive, I mean I'm looking at about 100 gigs of files here, though I won't go into the details of where all that data came from. My goal is to actually play this stuff through a dedicated media player, ideally using Winamp. I've spent some time scouring the web for a specific plugin that might handle this, but so far, I've come up completely empty-handed.
Is there an actual decoder out there that can help me? More importantly, is there a way to convert these files to MP3 while strictly preserving the original audio quality without any degradation? Thanks in advance.
Gary Johnson31 said:I've actually swung by Madison Square Garden a few times already, but the last time I went to grab tickets, they were already sold out. Has anyone here actually checked out the venue for this? 😂
Man, I just haven't had the right chance to make it happen yet... But next time, I am definitely going. 👍
It’s never enough, is it? But my buddies? They’ll swipe whatever they can get their hands on... even when there isn't a damn reason to
Honestly, sometimes I find myself feeling genuinely envious of them, which is just pathetic, really. Down in Cleveland, there’s this one shop that’s basically local legend for all the wrong reasons.
I heard about this one guy who actually managed to walk out with a 17'' LCD monitor during the dead of winter 😲 Tucked right under his jacket... And here I am, staring miserably at some piece of junk $33 while my eyes practically ache from the strain 👎
It's just so unnecessarily complicated and sluggish; it feels like torrenting, except it somehow manages to be even more agonizingly slow.
Those two programs really only make sense if you're trying to download massive files upwards of a few gigabytes, right? A single song is barely 10MB at most.
Honestly, I don't think this format really does justice to individual songs; it feels much more suited for full-length albums, cinematic features, or even complete TV series, wouldn't you agree?
Does anyone have a recommendation for a decent piece of software, something along the lines of LimeWire?
Because frankly, I’m starting to lose my mind with LimeWire; it keeps digging up mountains of absolute garbage files that aren't even remotely what I'm looking for...
It’s always the same nonsense—you search for something legitimate and instead you get hit with "Bill_Gates_prank_video"... just endless junk featuring every single celebrity out there...
I caught it at the AMC Theatres, and seriously, all credit where it's due.
The only thing that really bugged me was how weird the font looked on screen. And no matter how hard I tried to follow the "how does that work?" logic during the transformation sequences, I just couldn't wrap my head around it. It felt like watching a pile of scrap metal shifting around until it somehow settles into its final shape...
Honestly, it’s incredible how much easier running becomes when you have a solid soundtrack playing in your ears...
I usually just throw on my MP3 player with about 600 tracks loaded up and hit shuffle...
The main thing is to pick music with a driving rhythm, something that makes you want to tap along on your desk while you're sitting there😍 It can be slightly slower, sure, but you absolutely cannot let it get too monotonous... It really needs that steady beat
As for my personal taste... I find that punk is my go-to whenever I'm out for a run... Surprisingly enough, I've found that Sisters of Mercy works wonders for keeping my pace up... Even some ska stuff isn't bad, or maybe some Animales Del Laboratorio😈 👍 And so on...
