Well, I mean, in the medical world, any kind of growth is usually treated like a tumor until someone proves otherwise, so if you've already seen a urologist and they confirmed it's just a spermatocele, there probably isn't much to worry about... but if it's causing you discomfort, or especially if that pain starts coming back, you should probably go back for another checkup, or even a quick procedure... it's nothing too crazy... basically, just head to the doctor, because there's really no reason to just sit there and deal with the pain!

I did a little bit of digging online, and I stumbled upon some stuff saying this could be a sign of throat cancer. I've been smoking for quite a long time, so I'm feeling pretty spooked right now...

There isn't much else to say or debate here! You should probably head back to the doctor right away!!! I really hope it turns out to be nothing serious... please let us know how things turn out..

I guess it depends on whether you've been feeling any pain from the swelling? If it isn't hurting at all, then maybe you don't even need to worry about it or touch it... but if it starts bothering you, or if you feel some kind of ache or tension, it can be surgically removed, which isn't really a major procedure or anything... so I wouldn't stress too much about it right now...

If I sounded a bit too casual earlier... honestly, once you've had the CT, there really isn't much left to worry about, and everything they explained to you makes sense to me. I guess you shouldn't hold it against the doctors for scaring you at first; they were just being cautious and taking things seriously, which is how you should handle any result that isn't just routine, even if it ended up making you feel incredibly anxious both then and now...
But, for the sake of your own peace of mind, I keep coming back to the whole issue of stress and how it affects you. Maybe try seeing your doctor again or just give them a call and ask for a few minutes to chat about those results. You could just explain that you didn't quite process everything the first time and that you’d really appreciate it if they could go over the findings one more time just so you can finally relax... yeah...

I really don't think you have any reason to worry. I guess you could just look at it as one of those little anatomical quirks that sets you apart from everyone else, but physiologically speaking, everything is working exactly as it should. Honestly, when it comes to how the body is built, I’ve known all sorts of people with unique setups—like a guy I met who actually had his heart on the right side instead of the left, a girl who was born with an extra toe, or even a young man who only just found out he was missing a kidney. And truthfully, every single one of them lives completely normal, healthy lives. So, I really think you should just focus on enjoying life and staying healthy. Worrying too much just invites unnecessary stress, and we all know exactly what that kind of tension can do to a person.🙂
