But why are there so few Vogue editors compared to the Microsoft admins and mods?

-Perkins- is a mod on the off-topic board, but he’s got the potential to become an admin on this site.

I don't get this obsession with worshiping Microsoft staff and all these various titles or whatever. Honestly, when one of those admins shows up, they're just some random guy with a massive post count acting like they're high-ranking government officials in real life.

edit: since this is a testing forum, I just tested the signature from the colleague above and I have to say, it's pretty original:

@ cosmicfalcon12; those experts from the coast (the San Diego crew)😕

😬

I guess they're just high quality. Reminds me of that one guy who nuked a few forums; took me all of four minutes to find his cell number and another minute to track down his full name and home address. This pro is from my neighborhood.

casualowl1 said:So, how do you actually quote multiple posts in one reply?

It's pretty simple since the vBulletin crew built this thing. There's a button right next to the quote button—just click that on whatever posts you want to include. But no, apparently those geniuses failed miserably at upgrading the forum software.🙂

cosmichound10 said:you'd be perfect as a help moderator! 😬

I guess I learned that from you, though. So maybe you should be the admin instead.🙂

driftinghawk66 said:How do you quote just a specific part of someone's post? Thx.🙂

Just click it. Just delete whatever part you don't want to quote.

What's up?

It’s impossible this way, but maybe it works that way

I guess this place would just turn into a total circus if that were actually allowed...🤣

People would probably just blow up threads whenever they felt like it. Then the mods would be stuck cleaning up the mess constantly. Probably better not to go there.

Amy Brooks8 said:On Reddit—and obviously, they mean this specific Reddit site.
As for blogs, you can't just post any random link; if the moderator xy doesn't like what you've posted, you'll find yourself in an argument you simply cannot win.
OTHER LINKS—it's the same deal. If the moderator xy gives you the green light, sure, go for it, but most of the time? Not going to happen.😬

...and then a mod might have a link to some external site because the admins allowed it under some rule nobody knows about...

not really criticizing, just stating what was written here.

Just use the same damn sig again and then you can complain about getting a red card!😬

or send it to me and I'll just share it with my best friends😕 😕

what does "some time" even mean?😕 😕 😕

cut the commentary (this is serious testing stuff; some mods are watching this; meow)

well I'm testing too! I'll get you 😕 <---him (click, click, click)

explanation?

He probably went off-topic in a section without a post count and got banned. Maybe the mod wiped his posts, so he's back at zero again.
