Apparently, there are several different types of thrombocytopenia out there. Mine seems to be autoimmune, though even my doctors can't quite pin down what triggered it.

I’ve been through this myself. It’s essentially a deficiency in your platelet count. I’m curious about the underlying causes, though—I ended up in the ER with a platelet count of just 7 after going ten days without any medication, and they managed to get me up to 110. Does anyone know how I can prevent this from happening again?

If anyone here has ever actually dealt with this before, I’d really appreciate it if you could share your thoughts on the matter.
