My roommate recently finished a three-week fast, though he was definitely consuming liquids during the process; I’m not entirely certain if he stuck strictly to water, as I noticed him using a juicer to make various juices quite often.
He paired the whole experience with a regular yoga practice, and his main takeaway is that you really shouldn't attempt something like this without significant mental preparation.

He actually reached a point where his tongue started peeling.

On the other hand, he insists that once it was over, he felt completely reborn, but he hasn't actually tried repeating the process in quite some time.😕
