Switching primary care doctors

Does anyone happen to know what the current protocol is for switching out my primary care physician? Is there any restriction on when I can make the swap during the year, or can I just do it whenever I feel like it?
And another thing—if I end up being totally unsatisfied with the new doctor, am I stuck with them for some mandatory waiting period, or am I free to ditch them immediately and find someone else?

I’m looking for some help interpreting these lab results...
Symptoms: fever of 101.3°F, severe sore throat, total exhaustion, and those deep muscle aches...
The blood work from the same day shows these abnormal values:
CBC:
- elevated segmented granulocytes = 89 (normal range 44-72)
- elevated reactive lymphocytes = 2 (normal 0-2)
- decreased lymphocytes = 3 (normal 20-46)
Additionally, low urea = 2.5 (normal 2.8-8.3), low potassium = 3.6 (normal 3.9-5.1), and an elevated CRP = 10.9 (normal 0-5)
Everything else looks normal.
Could this be the flu?
