Yesterday afternoon, somewhere between 3:00 and 4:00 PM, I was out cruising on my motorcycle at about 81 miles mph when I got stung by what I assume was a bee—or maybe a wasp. I’m leaning toward bee because the stinger was left behind, and I’ve seen enough of those little things to recognize when one gets stuck like that. It hit me right between my index and middle finger. Once I pulled into my driveway, I fished the stinger out and, in a moment of questionable judgment, smeared some mud over the wound. My hand swelled up immediately, and it’s been incredibly tender to even touch. Fast forward to this morning: the swelling hasn't gone down at all. It’s red, it’s itchy, and it hurts like hell whenever I apply any pressure. But here’s the kicker—there’s another issue further up. My armpit area on that same side is killing me; I get this sharp, stinging tightness whenever I try to lift my arm. I can't tell if this is just a localized reaction to the sting or if something else is going on. What should I do? :S...................
