then there's no problem—the fix is just in your little "outburst"😁 when you get home, leave the job and the corporate grind at the door 😁 and actually focus on hanging out with your favorite people. I'll sound pathetic saying love heals everything, but hey, what else can you do? 🤣😍
totally agree—stress is basically the root cause of all that high blood pressure and cholesterol nonsense. like, what’s the point if you have all four issues hitting you at once? just great.😉
all jokes aside, try carving out even a tiny bit of downtime every day: meditate, hit up a spa, play some pickup basketball with the guys, or just sit in silence for 20 minutes with some chill music. might seem like some total new age crap at first🙂 but seriously, give it a shot. it actually works.
same deal at work—try to dodge those stress triggers whenever you can. don't sweat the stuff that's totally out of your control, you know?

and yeah, about the coffee thing... I have a friend who’s literally allergic to it. turns out caffeine isn't everyone's best friend, and it can even change as you get older (you can develop allergies to stuff you used to be fine with)... but like nimblebison17 says, don't overthink it—just switch to decaf. smells the same anyway.☕
Adam Green2, based on those symptoms, you might be looking at high cholesterol—and don't get defensive, even fit people deal with this.
Basically, stress (!!!), cigarettes (!), and coffee (especially if it's too much or too strong) all mess with your levels. The weird thing about cholesterol is how it hits—it can feel like chest tightness or just this floating, depressive, anxious vibe, depending on the person.
I’d definitely suggest getting some blood work done just to see where your cholesterol stands.
If everything comes back fine, then your body is probably just screaming at you to slow down. 😉 Maybe try waiting to have that morning coffee and cigarette until after a big breakfast—at least then you'll have some food to buffer the damage.

Anyway, I’ve been there myself (I was a massive smoker and caffeine addict😛), and it’s basically that moment we all hit when we live too hard and our bodies finally say: "stop, time for a makeover." 😁

Hang in there, hope you feel better soon!🙂
