Soccer Club Kits, Vol. 1 in Soccer ·
mellowowl38 said:So here’s the breakdown: the home kit is rocking that classic Puma look, the away kit is the updated Puma style, and then there's the third kit—which follows that same new design pattern. Honestly, I think Tottenham might be the only other team using something similar right now, and it’s easily the best looking one out of the three.

I was just about to type that exact sentiment; they really did a marvelous job with the patterns this time.

Completely wrecked 🙏

mellowowl38 said:Blue, obviously. If it were some major anniversary year, I’d buy the jersey even if it was hot pink 😁, but man, I am totally let down. I don't even feel like buying it. Can someone please hop on Photoshop and strip that gold crap off the kit so we can all admire how much better it looks without it?

You would end up with something almost identical to the standard European kit, just minus the gold. 🤷

Anyway, could someone please drop a link to that Los Angeles Lakers Facebook page 😁

Which one are you leaning toward—the gold or the blue? 😁

The Boston Celtics have completely rejected the technical staff's input on this, whereas the Los Angeles Lakers apparently skipped that whole stage entirely and handled the jersey and crest design themselves. Most likely just yesterday.

What an absolute disaster of a verse. 🤮

They look as though someone decided to decapitate them mid-stride, leaving nothing behind but a gruesome trail of gore smeared across their 😬
bad jersey.

The name is Carbrini. I must admit, it's my first time ever hearing it.

Their kit supplier is Nike, and their primary sponsor is Charles Schwab.

Take a look at this... 🙏

The club from the Brasilian capital that is currently in Serie B just unveiled their latest kit a few days back.

The design serves as a massive homage to heavyweights like Metallica, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Sex Pistols, Ramones, The Distillers, and The Misfits.

mellowowl38 said:Yeah, I was actually keeping up with the news too. 😁So, the new kit just hit the shops, but there’s a total mess with the design—there’s actually a typo somewhere in the song lyrics on it, and they even messed up the old crest. Honestly, it’s kind of a disaster, but since that whole batch is already manufactured, we’re stuck with them. The players will be rocking these for the rest of the calendar year, and then we'll finally get the updated version next season. If I were actually a die-hard Los Angeles Lakers fan, I’d be having a complete identity crisis over whether this thing looks good or not. I’d probably end up buying it anyway, just out of pure loyalty. But hey, since I don't actually root for the Lakers, I can afford to sit here and seriously debate whether this jersey is actually decent or just a total eyesore. 😁So, here’s the dilemma: do I grab this current one that’s got a blatant typo and that outdated crest, or do I go for the new version which is grammatically correct but features that absolute garbage anniversary logo? Honestly, I’m leaning toward the first option—and I bet most Lakers fans are right there with me.
Plus, now that I’m actually looking at this kit, I can already tell who’s going to be the most "thrilled" with it: the sponsors, who are practically invisible in this shot—and let me tell you, once the actual match photos start coming in, they won't even be able to tell who's playing. And then there are the commentators, who will probably only realize after the Los Angeles Lakers game wraps up just how much of a joke those Nike national team jerseys are, what with those ridiculous little holes inside the blue numbers. 🤣

And honestly, since we don't have the sheer luck of wearing Umbro ourselves, here’s a little something to wrap things up—just a little mental escape for when nobody's looking, imagining us rocking that Dinamov tailored by Umbro in some alternate dimension. 😁

🙏🙏🙏

Aston Villa has a new look. They’ve switched up their sponsor too, and now they’re sporting the exact same one as Fulham.

image It honestly looks like something an old man would wear... 😁

Are these jersey numbers actually intended for an international tournament? It seems as though everyone on the squad is wearing the exact same digits, yet they certainly don't look the part—unless, of course, they've gone out and had them custom-tailored behind the scenes.

I was actually the one responsible for designing that jersey. ☕

What happened to that old coat of arms? Did we just decide to abandon it altogether?

You said it yourself, he's wearing a smaller jersey; he's the only one with a tight fit 😁
ala Manicha 🤣

At least Maniche actually had some chest definition. ☕😁

Even when Kuratz gets himself bulked up, he picks a jersey two sizes too small and ends up looking absolutely scrawny. 😁

What a total joke this Nike kit is 🤮

Hihi 😁, trash club, trash jersey

E: Hull City is actually great 👍

But it’s a decent kit, isn't it? 🤷 Definitely an improvement over last season's.
Soccer Club Kits, Vol. 1 in Soccer ·
Honestly, I agree that things might look cleaner without those side stripes, but if they removed them, we’d basically just be wearing the exact same kit from three seasons ago. That one only featured a single gold stripe.

It feels like they essentially ripped off that old anniversary design, so it’s clearly pulling from that era. 😁 Though, in my opinion, the trim could have been a bit more subtle.
Soccer Club Kits, Vol. 1 in Soccer ·
A total classic, though I have to say, Adidas handles those stripes much better.
Soccer Club Kits, Vol. 1 in Soccer ·
Oh, absolutely. Honestly, Valencia was such a much better side back when Nike was the one handling their kits...

It’s decent enough, without being overly flashy, even if they could have easily managed without that Red trim on the sleeve. At first glance, I’m not particularly fond of the fabric; it feels a bit too "bling bling" for my taste, which isn't really my style. 😁 One really ought to see it in person to make a proper judgment, or perhaps catch a match to see how it actually looks in action.
