Film theory and the whole language of cinema dictate that movies made for the big screen should actually be watched in a theater. That’s just the natural habitat for film.
A movie is an image, the screen is its canvas, and the edges of that frame serve as the border—and we all know how much dimensions matter, especially when you consider that visual example of a guy peeking from behind a bush 😁.
Beyond the actual screen where the action unfolds, you have that whole charged atmosphere of the movie house: the darkness, the rustling, and occasionally someone like Joza being a distraction with their phone...
Ante Peterlić talked about all of this beautifully back in that old film series (it was an educational show for kids and teens), and he even wrote the book "Film Studies."
