Honestly, you don't need to worry about inserts until they hit age three. A child's foot is still developing quite a bit at this stage. There’s actually a great book out there regarding foot exercises and development—it covers everything about manual therapy for pediatric foot issues. Just stick to some regular exercises and you'll be fine. Best of luck!
