Timothy Jones85 said:The absolute dealbreakers—or rather, the first things that actually make a girl catch my eye:

1. She can't be a smoker.😈

2. She’s got actual taste in music.
3. She’s witty and actually educated.
4. She’s a little bit messed up.

Man, that’s basically the dream girl right there.🙂

Oh, so I just need to swap out my entire personality then? Great.😉

2. destroying 2000 years of culture
3. sick to death
4. Germany's gotta go
5. revolution action

I’d really appreciate it if those regionalist fascists would just pipe down or, better yet, keep their narrow-minded opinions to themselves🙄

Carol Jackson45 said:Yeah, well, when you say "in Chicago" with that certain little lilt, everyone can definitely hear that extra emphasis. 😘

Honestly, they never actually talk like that—it’s just some weird myth cooked up by the local news stations, so don't let them get in your head.

Samuel Murphy6 said:anyway, my unofficial ranking of singers who can actually hold a note without gasping for air (subjective, I know):

3. Adele (I mean, come on, when Z1 played "Rolling in the Deep" tonight, it was a total moment that shouldn't be ignored)

but honestly, I’m noticing she isn't even at the top of my list. kind of a disgrace, really 😳

Why am I getting singled out here along with everyone else—including me, some random kid from Chicago—just because of how I talk? 🙂

I mean, we totally overlooked the most alternative fanbase out there—RHCP

Actually, I went to the same high school as 57 different Morrisons... 😎

Nicholas Perez33 said:*clears throat* Okay, here’s my latest list. Bands whose diehard fans think it’s perfectly fine to basically terrorize anyone who isn't part of the cult*:

1. The Doors
2. Dream Theater
3. Tool
4. Queen

* — look, I get it, most hardcore fans are kind of unhinged, but these four groups really take the cake when it comes to being total zealots and just being aggressive for no reason

Honestly, I barely even felt the "terror" from the other groups, but those Doors fanatics? They are straight-up EVIL.

ruggedcrane22 said:but honestly, you idiots act like we’re some kind of athletic powerhouse. I mean, maybe if we did what they do in Germany and made second grade require passing tests for bike riding and swimming, half of you wouldn't even make it through elementary school.

Preach!! 👋

stormyviper11 said:There are about five and a half things people on this forum are claiming they don't know tonight—and honestly, I’m right there with them, because frankly, I haven't a clue either:

Riding a bike. Just... riding. Honestly, sometimes I feel like people overcomplicate it—you know? Like they need the most expensive carbon fiber frame from Trek or some high-tech gear just to get around town—but I guess at its core, it’s just you and the road. Whether you're cruising through a park in Chicago or just pedaling to the corner store, there's something about it. It's simple, though I suppose it can be a total pain if you end up stuck in traffic with some distracted driver in an SUV. But yeah, riding a bike. That's it.
2. ski resort.
Third gear. Or maybe it should be fourth? I don't know—honestly, I’m just thinking out loud here—but third gear feels like the sweet spot for this kind of thing. Maybe that's just me being overly cautious, though. I guess we'll see.
Just sitting here... blowing bubblegum bubbles. Seriously. Is there anything more mindless? I don't know, maybe. It’s just one of those things—you start doing it, and suddenly twenty minutes have vanished and you're just staring at the ceiling, wondering where the time went. Probably shouldn't be doing it while I'm supposed to be working, I guess, but hey, sometimes you just need that mental reset—even if it's a totally unproductive one.
5. fingers crossed.
5 1/2. Whistling... sort of. I honestly didn't even realize it for the longest time—until one day, I don't know, everything just kind of hit the fan with, uhm, "The Final Countdown." 😳 I think I’ve finally sort of caught the hang of it—well, kind of—so now I have these semi-successful attempts at whistling, though honestly, I probably shouldn't go around demonstrating them to anyone just yet.

analogpilot382 said:or maybe it’s just my feeling that their new 7'' is totally pointless—I mean, they don't even have that one standout vocalist in the band anymore 😢 ...and don't you dare go thinking I'm actually a fan here.🙄

I haven't heard that new 7" (Pissed Off Boy) yet, but I've got that CD single from Homesleep Records and honestly? It’s pretty mediocre to begin with...

And then BIIIIIIIIIIRDMAAAAAAAAN just hung out there while Space Ghost totally zoomed past him into first place! 😢
