I’m going to try sticking to some diet food the day before, skipping dinner entirely, and then just bypassing breakfast the next morning... 🤷 I don't really have any other choice at this point...
Alright, so in two days, I’m heading down to Miami to sit for my state exams. I have to be up at 4:00 AM to catch the bus, and here comes the issue—it happened last time I made this trip—where the combination of waking up way too early, the sheer anxiety over the testing, and just general mental stress triggers this nightmare scenario where I suddenly need a bathroom immediately, and if there isn't one nearby, I end up dealing with constant diarrhea...
It’s like these cramps just hit out of nowhere and I have maybe two minutes before I absolutely have to find a restroom.😢
Can anyone give me some actual advice? What should I eat the day before, what kind of snacks should I pack for the trip, and should I even bother eating breakfast that morning? Also, is it better to "clear everything out" before I leave, or should I wait until the night before? I'm worried that if I try to go that morning, I might just irritate my colon even more. Basically, is there any way to prevent this? If I eat less the day before and skip breakfast entirely on the morning of the exam, maybe there won't be anything left to trigger a situation, and the diarrhea might stay away?
Basically, it’s about my mother—she's 46—and she mentioned today that her left leg is tingling, along with this persistent numbness spreading down her entire left side, almost like a pins-and-needles sensation. Her blood pressure seems fine right now, she checked it herself, though she does struggle with hypertension and takes Lisinopril regularly. 🤷 She's trying to brush it off, claiming it's just the weather changing, but I have a gut feeling she’s downplaying the pain because she’s absolutely terrified of doctors; even the mere thought of stepping foot in a clinic sends her into a panic. To make matters worse, she’s been complaining all morning about this tightening sensation around her chest area...
Lately, I’ve been dealing with this absolute nightmare of insomnia... I don't even hit the pillow until around 2 AM, and then I just spend two agonizing hours tossing and turning before I finally drift off... The day before yesterday was particularly brutal; I was so restless I couldn't stand it, ended up getting out of bed at 3:30 AM just to pace around for a bit before crawling back under the covers... 😢 Honestly, I have no idea how I’m going to cope once summer ends—it’s manageable right now since the weather is warm and school is out of the picture, but that won't last forever. 🤷 If I can't find a way to actually get some sleep soon, I’m probably just going to knock back a few beers; usually, a little bit of alcohol is the only thing that actually knocks me out...
