How does that work? The Kremlin types were calling for $200 a barrel, but turns out they're just full of it.

But wouldn't it make perfect sense for prices to slide back down to pre-war levels, considering Russian production has only dipped by a mere 3%?

It’s an absolute disaster, isn't it?

Things seem to be spiraling even faster than when the old union fell apart after the Great Leader passed away.

But I wonder, couldn't we apply that same logic to those who might be purchasing howitzers from Mexico?

The artillery is mostly from the 70s... I honestly don't know how much that's going to help the guys on the ground.

It isn't that they're rare; it's just that someone has to foot the massive bill for them...

I don't think Lockheed Martin is going to hand those over just because someone asked nicely, right?

Besides, isn't that exactly how things go—one single shell causes enough devastation to turn an entire town dark?

We sent over the heavy artillery, but there's no way we just finished building it all yesterday or the day before, right?

And besides, we weren't even the ones manufacturing them in the first place.

The Russian Army is generally garbage, much like their economy. Just a bunch of colorful lies with zero results. If Russia weren't a nuclear power, NATO would turn them into a parking lot. By Wednesday.

If a woman were a man...

I mean, who's actually out there using encrypted Motorolas (or those exclusive military PIH units—but hey, those are just for the softies) on the front lines when you can just grab one of these Russian beauties for comms? ☕

Motorola really lost its way, didn't it?

They were bought out by the Chinese...[/IMG][/I]

And yeah, the Chinese have money, but they still struggle to build a decent car.

They certainly seem aware of their limitations, given that they manage to churn out 18 million subpar units every single year, don't they?

Absolutely,

how can we expect anything else to change while they continue to hand out pensions and benefits to those who are busy decapitating people all over the world?

It certainly makes things feel a little more manageable when you realize your wife will be spending the next forty years traveling the world thanks to a truly heavenly pension, don't you think?

kind of like how I bought a brand new car a few years back just as a way to remember my late great-grandmother 🤦

Honestly, folks like that are exactly how people build massive fortunes in the automotive industry...

Also, one of the top WNBA players, an American named Griner, has been stuck in a Russian prison for about six months now. She’s looking at a potential 10-year sentence because, get this, they found a tiny bottle of cannabis oil in her bag at the airport.

Just imagine,

she would have faced that exact same sentence if she had been caught in Texas.

People aren't going to freeze to death; they'll make it through this winter by using coal, thermal power plants, and whatever else is available.
There's this constant mantra being pushed that Russians can survive anything because that's how they're built... but what, are the rest of the nations in Europe just supposed to surrender and die because of it?
And since Russia has been cast out of the Western circle... I truly hope those who support them find themselves right where they belong.

I actually came across a report stating that countries like Mexico and Canada have banned the export of timber and pellets because Westerners were snapping them up like crazy.

It’s true, isn't it? For someone living in Russia, wouldn't you say the climate control system is easily one of the most vital components in any vehicle?

gentlestag15 said:For now, those $300 billion in frozen Russian foreign exchange reserves should do the trick.
Once this war is over, we can use that money to kick the thief out of the house for good.

If you take three hundred billion and divide it by three hundred, you end up with a billion months...

I suspect Putin can sleep quite soundly at night, don't you think?

Would a little something like $200 or $300 a month actually solve the issue?

hollowdriver13 said:Wat aboot US…..

You set the stage by framing this as some kind of lease agreement, but all I did was point out that this is standard international practice. If the deal works for everyone involved, why not? Even Russia didn't seem to have an issue with that logic all those years after the USSR collapsed, especially while they were busy running proxy drama out in Kyiv.

And then, of course, when there isn't actually a solid answer to the question, people just fall back on that classic, old-school Soviet-style whataboutism, always using the US as their favorite target.

Since when did it become standard practice for a tenant to decide how much rent they pay and how much stays in the landlord's pocket?
