Standard vs. fiberglass casts: which is better?

Hey everyone, I was wondering how things turned out with your fiberglass cast situation? Which private doctor did you end up seeing? I have a follow-up at the Chicago Trauma Center tomorrow, so I'm just trying to be prepared.
