How to deal with facial hyperpigmentation?

I’ve run into a bit of a situation with my beard... about two months ago, this little patch started forming on my chin, and now it’s grown to about a centimeter wide. To make matters worse, the hair growing in that specific spot is super thin and white—it’s almost invisible! Does anyone actually know what might be causing this? Because I'm totally in the dark here...😢
