This might be a bit of a tangent from the main topic... but listen to this—I was officially discharged from the hospital this past Monday, right? Yet, they told me to swing back by on Thursday to pick up my final paperwork, and when I looked at the discharge summary, the date listed was actually Thursday’s date. Which means, according to their records, I was still being checked off the ward's patient list for those extra days. It's just wild to think about—what if something had happened to me while I was sitting on my couch at home instead of being tucked into a hospital bed?
