What are we even fighting for?

So, what about those of us who just want to actually enjoy life? Believe it or not, this is my actual life philosophy right now—and I’m only 20. My whole goal is to make sure every single day feels $33. I just want to wake up next to someone I love, live a modest life, and basically do absolutely nothing. Is that actually a healthy way to think? Because honestly, it’s starting to feel like maybe it isn't. :S
EDIT: I forgot to mention something someone else brought up. Why even bother grinding for more than that? Why work ourselves to death all day when everything gets taken away the second we die anyway? It feels pointless.
