I was sitting on my porch this morning just trying to enjoy a coffee, and I couldn't help but feel this heavy, sinking sensation in my gut. It feels like every time I turn on the news or check my phone, there’s some new escalation or some high-profile figure being hauled in front of a committee to answer for everything that happened over the last few years.

It’s getting hard to shake the feeling that we’re stuck in this endless cycle of friction. One minute it feels like we're on the brink of something massive on the global stage, and the next, it feels like we're just endlessly litigating the past in a way that doesn't actually fix anything. It’s exhausting to keep up with the constant back-and-forth, whether it's geopolitical drama or the domestic fallout from the health crises we all lived through.

I find myself wanting to just unplug for a week, but then I worry I'll miss the moment where things actually change. Does anyone else feel this kind of "perpetual crisis" fatigue, or am I just being overly cynical?
